1. Two particles of masses 3 kg and 5 kg are separated by a distance 40 cm from each other.
Find the distance of center of mass of the system from the 5 kg mass.

2. Three particles of masses 1kg, 2kg and 3kg are kept along x-axis at x = 0, x = 3 cm, x = 8 cm
respectively. Find the distance of center of mass of the system form 2kg mass.

3. Four particles are kept at the corners of a square (PQRS) of side a. masses 3kg, 4kg, m kg
and 4 kg are kept at the corners P, Q, R, S respectively. Find the mass m so that the center of
mass of the system is at the center of the square.

4. Find the position of center of mass of a light rod (mass less) 1m long carrying 20g, 40g, 60g,
