1. Title: Coolant Pump Genset No.2.

2. Equipment spesification:

a. Item: Coolant Pump.

b. Parent Equipment: Genset no.2.
c. Patt Number: 3285323.
d. Qty: 1 set.

3. Defect Justification: Mechanical seal defective cause coolant flow out from
genset no.2. After further inspection by ship staff found bearing worn out and
cause shaft wobling when rotating by hand.

4. Workscope:

a. Drain all coolant into suitable container.

b. Remove cover and belting for coolant pump.
c. Remove defective coolant pump from genset no.2.
d. Dismantle coolant pump and inspect any defect.
e. Renew Mechanical seal and bearing. Ensure both item as per OEM
spesification.
f. Reassemble coolant pump and reinstall into genset no.2 using new
gasket.
g. Renew coolant. Ensure coolant using coolant ES Compleat
Ethylene Glycol Premix 50/50.
h. Reinstall belting and conduct functional test to prove coolant pump clear
from any leaking and operational with smooth.
i. After completed reinstall cover and clear working area from any rubbish.

5. Priority: Limited to genset no.1 and no.3

6. Maintenance Suggestion: Remove, dismantle, service, reinstall coolant pump.
