Activation of Jubilee

Text: Leviticus 25:54

“And if he be not redeemed in these years,then he shall go out in the year of jubilee,both he and
his children with him”

What is Jubilee ?
Jubilee in scriptures signifies a season of turnaround. A time of freedom from captivity and
oppression. In this season slaves regained their freedom and debtors received debt cancellation.
Jubilee is generally put as a season of new beginning.
Then Activation is a process of making alive

From our text we can see that jubilee is here for both children and adults
In this study we will go through the process of activating jubilee in the family especially among

us as children and young people. Because the glory of jubilee for parents is incomplete without
jubilee for children also.

How can I as a child activate my jubilee
. As all things begins with. You must first surrender to God. From 1 Samuel 2:26 we can

see that Samuel was favored by both men and God, this is an example of Jubilee and this
was because he surrendered to the service of God
. Understand who you are in Christ :know that you are for signs and wonders (Isaiah 8:18 )

walk in that mentality and you will experience jubilee because a person with a failure
mentality can never experience Jubilee
. Set your boundaries: do not defy yourself, a person with a great destiny does not jump into

everything that is sent their way set boundaries and make right choices.
. Fear God “ the fear of God I’d the beginning of wisdom” and wisdom brings freedom unto
a man. It was Joseph’s fear from God that restrained him from Potiphars wife, after his
suffering he experienced jubilee
. Love God and have zeal for his work. John 15:10 says if you love God you will keep his
commandments. When you love him serving him will come naturally. David enjoyed jubilee
because of his commitment and interest to the things of God.

Conclusion

From Jeremiah 31:17 we are assured that we can still be restored even if we have indulged in sin
or compromised ourselves. All that is needed is that you come back to Jesus. May we experience
Jubilee in Jesus name.
