Introduction to Electricity and

Magnetism:

Electricity and magnetism are two of the fundamental forces in

the universe. They are closely related and are often studied
together as electromagnetism. Electricity is the flow of charged
particles, while magnetism is the interaction of moving charges
with magnetic fields. Together, they play a crucial role in many
areas of science and technology, including electronics, power
generation, and communications.

Electric Fields:

An electric field is a region in space where an electrically

charged object experiences a force. The strength of the electric
field is determined by the amount and distribution of charge in
the surrounding space. Electric fields are created by charged
objects and can be visualized as lines of force that extend
outward from positive charges and inward toward negative
charges. The unit of measurement for electric field strength is
volts per meter (V/m).
Magnetic Fields:

A magnetic field is a region in space where a magnetic object

experiences a force. Magnetic fields are created by moving
electric charges and can be visualized as lines of force that loop
around from the north pole of a magnet to the south pole. The
strength of the magnetic field is determined by the strength of
the magnet and the distance from the magnet. The unit of
measurement for magnetic field strength is tesla (T).

Electromagnetic Waves:

Electromagnetic waves are a form of energy that travels

through space at the speed of light. They are created by
changing electric and magnetic fields and can be used for
communication, such as radio
