The front panel of the Avaya MM710B media


module
The MM710B T1/E1 media module terminates a T1 or E1 trunk facility. For T1 connections, you can provision
the MM710B to either utilize the integrated Channel Service Unit (CSU) capabilities or connect directly to an
external CSU. This information also applies to the MM710.

Note:
You can use the six ports in the middle of the front panel for testing.

For drop and insert, you need an external CSU.

Gateway and the module
is receiving a T1 source
signal.

of 0.2 seconds on and
2.8 seconds off if the
MM710B synchronization
source is configured to
synchronize the Branch
Gateway and the T1
source is lost.

The physical connection
