Objective(s):  Use context (e.g., definitions, examples, or restatements in text)as a
clue to the meaning of a word or phrase.
 Consult reference materials ( e.g., dictionaries or glossaries), to
find the pronunciation and determine or clarify the precise
meaning of key words and phrases.

Lead in: Discuss with them the title of the lesson, the genre and the main idea of
the text.
Steps:  Use P.P.T to show them the vocabs’pictures, their parts of speech,
meanings, synonyms and antonyms.
 Repeat their pronunciation and ask the students to use them in
sentences.

Recap:  Revise the vocabs. Orally by telling them a synonym or antonym

and they tell me the new vocabulary.

Assessment: Text book/ Booklet

Assignment: Ask the students to form some sentences to use the new vocabulary.

Feedback: Some of the vocabularies weren’t covered.
