Learning Objective: To know what is


meant by ‘germination’.

• Understand that seeds need certain conditions


to grow.

• To know that different factors will affect


germination.
PROJECT

YOU WILL NEED TO PLANT A SEED AND TAKE


PICTURES OF THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
OF THE SEED.
Given : 2 weeks to complete and submit
Prepare a short presentation of the experiment you
conducted.

You will need to include what factors would you


like to test for your experiment.

Do a small research on the factors that can affect


germination. Take one to test out.
YOUR PRESENTATION SHOULD INCLUDE :
1. Aim of your experiment: To investigate ….

3. Write out the procedures/steps taken to do the
experiment
4. Results- pictures – you will need to note the
day taken and what you observe
