1. Do you think that classical and structural description still have a value in ESP?
Why?
➢ I believe that classical and structural descriptions will have significance
in ESP today since conventional grammar has many significant
attributes that enable people to learn a language to enhance their grasp
of how language works. When it comes to structuring, it would be
beneficial to give learners systematic explanations of the language's
generative core. As a result, I believe that classical and structural
descriptions still have Significant value today. Although the language is
evolving, there's lots of structure in learning ESP that is still useful these
days.

2. What do you think is the importance of the concept of communicative

competence in ESP?
➢ From my point of view, the idea of communicative competence in ESP is
essential because it provides an understandable aim for learning ESP
with a factual and conclusive method that links to pragmatic language
acquisition. The communicative competence idea will assist in
understanding the ESP, which is about developing language skills based
on their requirements rather than studying grammar plus its
lexicon meaning.
