DISMANTLING METHODOLOGY

Listed below are the scopes that our team will dismantle at MindChamps International
Preschool. Elaborated per scope is the methodology that our personnel will apply upon the dismantling
of areas under our scope.

Scope A - Pull-out of In-School Items

 Items are in plastic/bubble wrap to ensure prevention of damage upon pull-out of it and
transporting.
 Items will be hauled from site to truck properly to prevent injuries and accident. Enough
personnels per haul will be implemented.
 If possible, we will use push cart to service elevator, if provided, for fast pace hauling.
 Debris will be separated depending on its type and risk. This may lessen injuries if not well
handled and stored.
 We have stand-by truck near site for efficient and productive hauling. We will make sure that
every trip is not overloaded. Items inside will be well anchored and tied.
 Workers will be provided with gloves and other needed PPE prior to hauling.

Scope B - Dismantling of Wall Partitions

 Partitions is Dry Wall in nature.


 All attached on wall will be remove prior to dismantling.
 Windows attached will up for dismantling before the wall. This will be properly wrapped to
avoid breakage.
 Electrical Circuit Breakers that supplied switches, outlets, and others must be turned off to cut
the supply of electrical at all wirings that installed at walls. This is to prevent electrocution to
personnel and tripping of breaker if that part with conduit and wiring is dismantled.
 Drills, Grinders, and other power tools that will used prior to dismantling of board and framing
will be well maintained and tested to ensure the efficiency and avoid malfunction of it. Gloves,
Eye protection glass and hard hat will be provided to prevent accidents and injuries.
 Screws and Bits will be the first to remove before the board to properly dismantle it.
 Sharp edges of dismantled metal framing will be trimmed to avoid puncture and wounds upon
hauling of it. This will be properly stored.
 Floor and ceiling anchorage of wall will be removed.
 Conduit, Wires, Outlets, and Switches removed from walls will be well stored and safe keep for
proper turnover.

Scope C - Dismantling of Flooring

 Flooring is Wood Planks in nature.


 Proper dismantling of planks will be observed to prevent damage on it for possible reutlization.
 Bare flooring after dismantling all of planks will be clean and cleared well for turnover.
 Safety shoes and other needed PPE's will be provided.
 Planks will be propely wrapped and turnovered.

Scope D - Dismantling of Items at Ceiling

 Ceiling is retain. Attached on it is the only up for dismantling.


 Electrical Circuit Breakers that supplied switches, outlets, and others must be turned off to cut
the supply of electrical at all wirings that installed at ceiling. This is to prevent electrocution to
personnel and tripping of breaker if that part with conduit and wiring is dismantled.
 Lighting fixtures, Speakers, CCTVs, Smoke/Heat detectors up for dismantling will be stored and
wrapped well for possible reutilization and proper turnover.
 Working personnel will be completed of hard hat, vest, eye protection gear, vest and other PPE's
need will be well provided. This is the first line of prevention to accident and injuries.
 Conduit, Wires, Outlets, and Switches removed from ceiling will be well stored and safe keep for
proper turnover.
 Fire Protection Sprinklers on ceiling will retain. Workers will safely dismantle items on ceiling
without damaging others that will retain.
 Drills, Grinders, and other power tools that will used prior to dismantling items on ceiling will be
well maintained and tested to ensure the efficiency and avoid malfunction of it. Gloves, Eye
protection glass and hard hat will be provided to prevent accidents and injuries.
 Needed PPEs will be provided
