The right to water is a basic human right. “A person can survive only three to five
days without water, in some cases people have survived for an average of one week,”
says thewaterpage.com. “Once the body is deprived of fluids the cells and organs in the
body begin to deteriorate. The presence of water in the body could mean the difference
between life and death. “Water is not only for drinking. In the Philippines, water is the
single most important component for sustainable rice production, especially in the
traditional rice growing areas. Current rice production systems consume a high amount
of water. Meat production also consumes a lot of water, most of all living organisms
needs water. It very essential especially to the human.

As time goes by, the sustainability of water in our country is now an issue as per
the clip on 2025 we’ll have a water shortage for around 25 thousands of million cubic
meters. For people tend to take for granted this type issue maybe because they’re not
suffering water shortage as of now, and eventually time will come people might save
every single drops of water, as climate change is now slowly affecting our environment.
Environmentalist are now planning an alternative solutions for water conservation in our
country, but as a human being how can we help in conserving our waters? For it takes
every people’s discipline in consuming water. Aside from planting trees and making
alternative ways, how about taking a step first with ourselves, I believe that if every
human being is disciplined enough it will somehow create a significant impact in
preserving our water resources here in our country
