Top Gun: Maverick

Top Gun: Maverick is one of the best air force movies I’ve ever seen. At first, my parents
kept on telling me that it is a very good and nice movie.
But I hesitate as I am not a fan of air force movies and
based on the movie poster shown, it didn’t seem quite
interesting to me. However, after much convincing from
my parents, I decided to give it a try. Top Gun: Maverick
was released in May 27, 2022 and it is two hours and
eleven minutes long. The main actor of the movie is Tom
Cruise. He acted as Pete Maverick Mitchell. The movie
is directed by Joseph Kosinski.

Now let’s go into the info of the movie. After more than thirty years of service as one of
the Navy’s top aviators, Pete Maverick Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is still pushing the envelope as
a courageous test pilot and avoid being promoted. When he finds himself training a
squad of Top Gun graduates for a specialized mission the likes of which no living pilot
has ever seen, Maverick encounters Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), aka Rooster, the son
of Maverick’s late friend and Radar Intercept Officer Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka Goose.
Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his deepest fears which demands the ultimate
sacrifice from those who will be chosen to fly it. Can Maverick and his Top Guns come back
home in one entire group?

The soundtracks are well-used as it fits the movie sequence. Like, in the movie, when
someone die, there will be a very sad music playing.

The best part of the movie, in my opinion, is when the planes are getting ready to take off.
The sound of the engines makes it intense and excitable. Even though I am not a fan of air
force, I really like it when they were turning the plane round and round and shooting
missiles to avoid the enemies attacking them.

I would give this movie a 4 out of 5 stars rating. If you are a fan of air force movies, I would
recommend you watching this. If you are not a fan of air force movies, I would still
recommend you watching this because it teaches me that you need teamwork to achieve
something.
