SUBJECT: INCLUSION OF THE MARKS OF GOLD MEDAL IN QUANTIFICATION

FOR THE POST OF LECTURER PSYCHOLOGY

I hope this email of mine would find your good self in the best of health.

I am pleased to inform your good self that I Aneela Begum having and MPhil in
Psychology and am currently perusing my PhD at the University of Peshawar.

2. The Abbottabad University of Science and Technology advertised various posts of

through advertisement No. 06-2022, dated. 12th, November 2022 wherein they have also
advertised the position of Lecturer Psychology (BPS-18). I been eligible for the position also
applied for the post. When filling the application form it was mentioned to attach Distinction
Certificates. I followed and attached my distinction certificate for the position (Screen shot of
application form is annexed).

3. I was called for the demonstration for the post of Lecturer (BPS-18) Psychology, I
appeared and delivered my demonstration very well.

4. Later on, I was called on for appearance before the Selection Board for the post of
Lecturer Psychology. Upon completion of the Selection Board, when I was returning home on
dated: 23rd Feb 2023, I visited the website of AUST wherein my quantification was uploaded
and was shocked to see no inclusion of marks for the award of Distinction / Gold Medal
(Annexed with this email). It was shocking for me to know, and I directly sent an email to the
Registrar Office regarding the issue but till date no response has been received. wherein I have
been given the marks only for distinction certificate (i.e., 3) but no further marks were given for
the Gold Medal (i.e., 3+2=5).

5. In this regard, it is most humbly prayed that I may please be given the complete marks
for the award of distinction and gold medal. The certificate of gold medal from the women
university swabi is annexed please.
