As shown in the figure, the Arduino UNO board is the central component of the system and is

connected to the various sensors, GSM module, DC gear motor, and pump. The water level
sensors are placed at different heights in the dam to monitor the water level, while the
pressure and temperature sensors are used to monitor the condition of the dam.
The DC gear motor is used to control the movement of the dam shutters, while the pump is
used to move water through the dam. The GSM module is used to enable remote monitoring
and control of the dam shutters.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

1.1. Introduction

Briefly discussed how the discussed working principle, methodology and model in chapter 2
had been implemented.

1.2. Required Tools and Components

Required Software Tools and/or Hardware components need to be discussed in detail.

OBE Requirement, CO7: Use tools for prediction and modeling of complex engineering
problems considering the practice in electrical and electronic engineering discipline. [P1, P4,
P5] Assessed from Book 5.2, 5.3.
P1: Cannot be resolved without in-depth engineering knowledge at the level of one or more
of K3, K4, K5, K6 or K8 which allows a fundamentals-based, first principles analytical
approach.
P4: Involve infrequently encountered issues.
P7: Are high level problems including many component parts or sub-problems.

1.3. Implemented Models

Briefly discussed the final implemented models with pictures and figures.
OBE Requirement, CO7: Use tools for prediction and modeling of complex engineering
problems considering the practice in electrical and electronic engineering discipline. [P1, P4,
P5] Assessed from Book 5.2, 5.3.
1.3.1. Simulation Model

Circuit Diagram, Component Model etc. with descriptions.

1.3.2. Hardware Model

Phase by phase Implemented Hardware and final configurations.

1.4. Engineering Solution in accordance with professional practices

Briefly explain how the proposed solution aligned with the related Professional Practices.
OBE Requirement CO7: Design solution for complex engineering problem in accordance
with professional practices. [K7, P1, P3, P7]
K7: Comprehension of the role of engineering in society and identified issues in engineering
practice in the discipline: ethics and the engineer’s professional responsibility to public
safety; the impacts of engineering activity; economic, social, cultural, environmental and
sustainability.

1.5. Summary

Summarize the final developed/implemented prototype or simulation model.
