The Midterm Oral evaluation for this level will assess the ability of students to use the learned
grammar structures and vocabulary for the CEFR A2 level by describing what they see in
pictures and drawings and connecting them into a coherent short story.
PROCEDURE:
• The teacher will show the student a sequence story (only one story from the three
attached).
• The student needs to describe what he/she sees and connects the different parts of
the story.
• The teacher will ask some guiding questions (in order to keep the student´s narrative
going). The learner should answer with full sentences.
• Each interaction should be a maximum of 5 minutes per student. Make sure you keep
track of the time.
• Teachers should NOT evaluate their own students in centers with more than one class.
• You must only use the rubrics & grading sheets provided for this exam.
• Before starting, greet the student and explain that they must respond using complete
sentences.
• If possible, students should wait in a separate room, so that they don´t hear their
classmates´ stories.
