RESEARCH MATERIALS

MATERIALS QUANTITY DEFINITION PICTURES

Water 5 Gallons

Popsicle sticks 100 pcs

Glue sticks 5pcs

Glass/ acrylic sheet 1pc(1x3)

Water pump 1pc

Cement 1bag

Sand 2kilos

Plastic spoons 10pcs

Metal wires 5meters

Small light bulbs 3pcs

Electric wire 2meters

AA Batteries 6pcs

Switch 3pcs

Small Light bulb 3pcs

socket

Solar panel 1pc

Yarn 1pc/1roll

Illustration board 1pc

2x2 wood 6pcs
RESEARCH PROCEDURE

1.Gather all materials.

2. Make the prototype base by

constructing it using cement, sand,
cardboard/illustration board, water, metal
wires, and 2x2 wood.

3. After you make the prototype base,

create small houses using popsicle sticks
and glue them together using glue sticks.
Put the light bulb sucket with the light
bulb attached to it inside the houses.
4. Build a hydroelectric power plant
model out of plastic spoons, glue sticks,
plastic bottle cap, and popsicle sticks.
Make 6 holes at the side of the bottle cap,
then insert the ends of 6 plastic spoons to
represent the turbine. Then create a
triangular shape out of popsicle sticks to
represent its powerhouse.

5. Create a wind turbine model by using

popsicle sticks, cardboard, plastic bottle
cap, and glue sticks. Make 3 holes at the
side of the bottle cap, then insert 3
popsicle sticks to represent its rotor. Use
cardboard to make the support tower or
mast, and glue sticks to hold everything
together.

6. Use a mini solar panel for solar energy.

7. Put the power pump at the left side base
of the prototype, pour the water, put the
mini solar panel at the right top of the
prototype, then the wind turbine and hydro
powerplant at the center of the prototype.
Put the power house beside the hydro
powerplant, then put the houses at the left
side of the prototype. Connect all the
powerplants to the power house using the
electrical wires then connect it to the light
bulb suckets inside each house

Fruit peels 1 – 2 kilograms

Pepper ½ - 1 kilograms

Garlic and Onion 25 grams

Coffee Grounds ¼ - ½ kilograms

Eggshells ½ kilograms

Vegetable Peels 150 ml

Rice Excess Water 150 ml

RESEARCH PROCEDURE
1. Gather all the materials needed such

as the vegetable and fruit peels or

biodegradable kitchen scraps.

2. Clean the materials and let it dry and

set the coffee grounds and pepper for

the later part.

3. Cut the peels, onions and garlic into

tiny pieces and crush the eggshells

into bits.

4. Put the materials on the blender

including the coffee grounds, pepper,

and the excess rice water and blend it.

5. Wait for the materials to turn into a

powdery substance and then put it in a

container.
