2.1 Transactional type of leader
 Authority or power comes from the appointment by a higher position in the
business
 The manner of which this type of leader manages his/her members could be a
combination of autocratic,
 Leans towards the “carrot and stick” approach for motivating the team in achieving
the goal. This contingent reward used in influencing people to function may lean
towards the materialistic job satisfaction perspective that are answering the lower
appetite of happiness and may not be sustainable in the long run.
2.2 Transformation type of leader
 In the business, may also be appointed to a certain leadership position but the
power comes from the members who believed in the authority of such leader. This
impact is affected by the following leader’s characteristics:
a. Influencer or with charisma which is said to be a person’s effectiveness trait
b. Inspires people to be the best version of themselves and think outside the box.
This kind of thinking enhances creativity among the team because leader has
the ability and capability to cultivate or intellectually stimulate its followers.
 A visionary type of leader in which the goal he or she is aiming to achieve with the
team is not limited to the profit point of view, but also of social economic
perspective. Thus, goal is transcending from self-interest to a higher appetite of
happiness of the team or followers.
