36 Great Things in Life that Money Can’t Buy

1. True love.

It is a great feeling to love and be loved by someone, and money

can’t buy it. Everyone deserves true love, whether you are the
poorest or the richest in this world. All it takes is for you to love
unconditionally and find the right one who will love you as he/she
loves himself/herself.

2. Self-love.

You can’t give and spread love to others or to a special someone if

you can’t even love yourself. When you have self-love you learn to
value yourself more and you would not let other people bring you
down easily. You don’t need money to learn to love yourself.

3. Respect.

Respect is not easy to earn but when you do earn it, it is a rewarding
feeling. You can neither buy nor sell it.

4. Honor

Honor is having a good reputation, and it can be hard to maintain it

because we’re only human and we all make mistakes.

5. Long life

Having a long life takes determination and the will to stay healthy and
live longer. Whether you are poor or a billionaire, you have all the
opportunities to take care of your physical and mental health to live
more years.

6. Experiences

They say that experience is the best teacher, and all those things that
you have experienced in the past make you who you are in the
present. You don’t need a million bucks to go out of your comfort
zone. Continue to explore and learn more experiences in life.

7. Eternal Life

You cannot buy your salvation with money and gold. To earn it, you
have to obey God’s commandments.

8. Knowledge

They say that knowledge is power, and to have this means that you
will be able to know and seek more of the better things that life has to
offer for us. You can buy education in schools, but you can’t buy the
greatest education you can learn from your parents, elders, friends,
and even from strangers.

9. Wisdom

Not all people have the wisdom on things that are important. Having
wisdom is very important for it can help you decide and choose the
right things. You cannot purchase wisdom with money. But the fear of
the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

10. Understanding

You cannot earn an understanding by getting rich. You earn it by

practicing what you preach. You acquire it by putting your knowledge
and wisdom into action. Remember that only when you actually do it
that you can understand it.

11. Integrity

Some people will do everything it takes to achieve their own goals

even when their integrity is on the line. You should not sacrifice it
because it shows what your values are and even what you really
believe in.

12. Real friends

When you feel like everyone is against you, real and true friends will
always be there for you. There may not be a lot but you can really
count on them. You don’t need to have a mansion or luxury cars to
have true friends.

13. Home

Home isn’t a building, home is where your heart feels safest and at
peace. Home is you and your family. A simple inexpensive house can
be a great and precious home.

14. Wealth

Wealth doesn’t always mean money, it can be your health, family or

friends.

15. Talent

A skill can be learned but to have a talent for something is innate.

You were born with talents. No one can take it from you and you’re
the only one who can hone and improve what has been gifted to you.

16. Acceptance

Acceptance is one of the hardest things we can ever give to a

situation. But having an accepting heart will help us have peace of
mind.

17. Truth

The truth may be harsh but it’s better than being lied to. The truth will
set you free, and you can enjoy that freedom even though you don’t
have any money.

18. Good manners

No matter how you dress and fix yourself if you have bad manners,
you will remain unpleasant to others. This is a common thing that
people should have so that they can give you the same thing that you
give them.

19. Common sense

Common sense means good judgment in making decisions. It can be
a bit hard to be decided right away without thinking of the
consequences but having common sense will help you see things
clearer and decide well.

20. Peace of mind

This is very hard to have with all the things that are constantly
bothering us. So let unnecessary people and things go if it only
makes your life toxic.

21. Courage

Taking risks may seem scary, but having courage in your heart will
help you conquer your fears. You don’t need a lot of money to be
brave. What you need is to believe in yourself and the people who
depend on you.

22. Cheerfulness

It’s free to smile and laugh! Do your best to overcome sadness.

Being pessimistic will lead you nowhere. Being cheerful and seeing
the brighter side of life will change your perspective on things in a
positive way and will motivate you to become a better person.

23. Inner beauty

No matter how much make-up you put on your face, if you belittle
other people, you are never going to be beautiful. What you are on
the inside, resonates on the outside.

24. Humility

In a world where the need to broadcast your achievements is the

measure of success, being humble is a bit hard to do. Let your
actions do the talking and always remember to keep your feet on the
ground.

25. Kindness

People can be very mean most of the time, but it should never be an
excuse to do the same. Kindness can go a long way and can make a
big impact on other people. You can always be kind to others
whether your wallet is full or empty.

26. Compassion

You don’t need to be rich to listen to people’s hearts. You don’t need
money to feel the suffering of other people. All you need to have is a
compassionate heart to be in the shoes of others.

27. Contentment

In this day and age where things just keep evolving and improving,
it’s very hard to be contented with what you have. But if you learn to
be satisfied, you will learn when it is too much and you have more
than enough. When you have contentment in life, money becomes
insignificant.

28. Good night’s sleep

You may afford to sleep in a five-star hotel but if your mind and heart
are troubled, you can’t have a good night’s sleep. Get a good night’s
sleep by always having a clean conscience.

29. Loyalty

This can be very hard to find these days, so when people have your
back and are truly loyal to you, learn to appreciate and cherish them.
Choose the people who are loyal to you because they love you, not
the people who are just loyal to you because they can get money
from you.

30. Moral support

Your loved ones, family, and best friends will always give you moral
support for free. They are your best support system. Hence, always
appreciate and value them.

31. Prayers

You can always pray, anytime and anywhere as long as you have
faith. The power of your prayers doesn’t depend on your financial
status but on your faith and righteousness.

32. Imagination
It’s free to imagine. Having an imaginative mind lets you create the
most beautiful things. We all have that, we just need to dig deeper
and think broader.

33. Dreams

Everyone can have sweet dreams. Even babies smile in their

dreams. And those smiles cannot be bought by money.

34. Luck

Luck may not always be on our side but when it is, we should be
thankful and happy.

35. Blessings

God gives blessings according to our works. He blesses the

righteous, not the wicked. And it doesn’t matter whether you’re
wealthy or destitute.

36. God’s grace

God’s grace is probably the best one out of all the things
enumerated, for without His grace, we wouldn’t even be here on this
earth. Always remember that God came down on earth, became
human and died on the cross to pay for our sins. That alone should
always remind us that this life that we have right now is a gift and that
we should not waste it.

If you have any of the things above, do your best to preserve and
nurture them. Don’t waste them! If you lack any of them, create and
develop them! You don’t have to spend money to possess them. You
just need to spend time, effort, and some sacrifice to acquire them
and shape your life today and in the future.
