1. Remove inner part from ashtray.

2. Insert a narrow slotted screwdriver into the opening -4- at right angles to the direction of travel
and hold it pressed gently downwards.

3. Move the selector knob from position P to N by actuating the release button.

10. Screw securing tunnel support to body → Tightening torque: 60 Nm (44 ftlb.)

Important notes:

The cardan shaft must not be repaired.

Do not kink the rear cardan shaft; only store and transport it in elongated position.

Set rear cardan shaft with the holder down facing upwards.

Mark the position of all parts in relation to each other before removal.

Re-install at the same position (possible bearing damage and humming noise due to imbalance if
not re-installed at the same position).
