    Answer the questions briefly and concretely.
    1. How can you follow Jesus in laying down his life for
    others?
    This is not the core of what this verse means, though
    God will call someone to die on rare occasions so that
    others will know Jesus. Putting others first and finding
    their needs more urgent than your own is what it means to
    lay down your life for them.We know love because he laid
    down his life for us, and we should do the same for our
    brothers. This is how we know what love is Jesus gave His
    life for us, and we should do the same for our brothers.
