Title

The first phrase in the Hebrew text of 1:1 is bereshith ("in [the] beginning"), which is also the
Hebrew title of the book (books in ancient times customarily were named after their first word or
two). The English title, Genesis, is Greek in origin and comes from the word geneseos, which
appears in the pre-Christian Greek translation (Septuagint) of 2:4; 5:1.Depending on its context, the
word can mean "birth," "genealogy," or "history of origin."

 WRITTEN BY MOSES AROUND 1500 BCE

 GENESIS IS NOT JUST THE FIRST BOOK BUT THE FOUNDATIONAL BOOK TO UNDERSTAND THE
WHOLE BIBLE.

 IN THE FIRST CHAPTER THE NAME GOD IS USED FOR 35 TIMES IN 31 VERSES.

 THIS BOOK IS NOT ABOUT THE CREATIONS BUT CREATOR HIMSELF.

 GENESIS COULD BE DIVIDED INTO 3 CATEGORIES OF HISTORY--- CREATION HISTORY,

PRIMITIVE HISTORY AND PATRIARCHAL HISTORY.

 THERE WAS A 400 YEAR GAP BETWEEN GENESIS AND EXODUS AND 400 YEAR GAP BETWEEN
MALACHI AND MATTHEW.

 THESE PERIODS GOD WAS SILENT AND WHEN GOD WAS SILENT MAN WAS DOING HIS PART
AND INDIAN, CHINESE AND EGYPTIAN CIVILIZATIONS DEVELOPED DURING THE 1 ST 400 YEARS
 OF GODS SILENCE AND IN THE SECOND PART BUDDHISM, ALEXANDER THE GREAT,
CONFUSIOUS, ARISTOTLE, ROMANS REIGNED AND ESTABLISHED THEMSELVES.

DEVIL ALWAYS DECEIVES US (3:5 DEVIL SAYS THE MOMENT YOU EAT THE FRUIT YOU WILL BE LIKE
GODS) BY NOT ACKNOWLEDGING WHO WE ARE( 1:26) AND WILL NEVER ALLOW US TO BELIEVE WE
ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH GOD (ROMANS 8:14-16 THE SPIRIT HIMSELF BEARETH
WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT, THAT WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD. )BUT WHEN WE BELIEVE IN JESUS
CHRIST THAT IS WHO WE ARE IN JESUS CHRIST.
