Some examples of sports and games that exhibit projectile motion:

1. Basketball: Players shoot the ball at an angle towards the hoop, exhibiting projectile motion.
When the ball is released from the player's hands, it travels through the air in a curved path
due to the force of gravity acting on it.

2. Baseball: When a pitcher throws a pitch towards the batter, the ball exhibits projectile
motion. The pitcher releases the ball at an angle, and it travels through the air in a parabolic
path towards the batter.

3. Football: When a quarterback throws a pass towards a receiver, the ball also exhibits
projectile motion. The quarterback releases the ball at an angle, and it travels through the air in
a curving path towards the receiver, who catches it or misses it.

Projectile motion is exhibited in sports and games because of the force of gravity acting on the
object. When an object is launched at an angle, it moves in a curved or parabolic path due to
the force of gravity. This is why many sports and games involve throwing or hitting a ball at an
angle towards a target.
