There is a whole bunch of stuff on the Web which is very good.
What is the “CLOUD”
Firstly:
What is a gb?
It is a Gigabyte - billion characters
The term is used everywhere:
- NBN often has a limit of download in gb
- cloud storage is in gb
- When you buy a phone the price varies according to how many gb they store
(eg my phone is 128 gb – I currently use 27 gb – Why 128 gb? – no idea –
just means it costs more and uses more battery)
- A 32gb phone is probably quite adequate for most people
So what is the CLOUD?
Apple - iCloud
5gb free; 50gb $1.49/mth
Google – Google Drive
15gb free; 100gb $2.49/mth
Microsoft – OneDrive
5gb free; 1000gb $6.90/mth
Just make sure that you are connected to the Web with
WI-Fi if you use it
E-mail - imbedded
E-mail - attachment
Send them via a message
iPhone
iPhone – e-mail
Apple treats imbedded and attached the same
In the e-mail touch and HOLD
(if you tap you just get an enlarged photo)
Older versions of Iphones do it slightly differently
Go into Message
Not so easy for Android users but wherever you see a microphone
such as in creating a message in Gmail, tap it and then voice input is enabled
