Student Life

Dr. Jose Rizal, our national hero once said that the youth of today is the future of our land. To my fellow students, teachers, peers, a splendiferous day. Education is the greatest treasure one can obtain throughout his existence, it is one thing no one can take away from us. As we try to finish this we call Education, we cannot deny that we must first be students. Lots of homework, tons of quizzes, countless projects, nerve-racking defenses. Who would forget the crushes and allowances. These make the rollercoaster ride of the life of a student. Having an education is a great privilege because not everyone can acquire it. Luckily, I am part of the student population. Since the first time I stepped into pre-school together with my ABCs and rhymes until the time I stepped into my college with my essays and algebra, I can say I enjoyed every bit of it. Student life is always a struggle, in order to go to the next level, one must comply to the challenges offered to make us stronger. Some of it are unbelievable or undesirable but still, I should take it in order to grow. Here we study not only the lessons from books but, most especially, lessons in life. We toil not only to get high grades but also to build the relationships we have. We learn how to get the value of x while we learn the value of our experiences that define who we are now, what we have become and what our plans will be. Due to the fact that trials are blocking our way to reach the final stage. I sometimes feel like giving up and surrender everything, but then, who will be the future of my land? If every youth thinks the same way I do and curls up upon simple trials, who will work for our country to grow? I believe our lives as students is our training ground, for the real battle is outside the four corners of our school. We, the student of today, will be the ones to take the place of our elders soon. The experiences we have during the time we are studying will be our tool for tomorrows success. As we study, we may fall down when all we really want is to soar high and thats the challenge of life, staying afloat in the sea of challenges. But then, the real question is, are we just going to give up or fight? Are we going to waste our time reaching for small, instantly acquirable things rather than aim for what we can do to ourselves so we can feel proud? The future lies in our hand us students. Success depends on how we create our student life. One wise man said Our future lies in our daily routine.
