ISLAMIC VALUES EDUCATION (ALIVE) PROGRAM IN REGION XII:ADHERENCE TO DEPED STANDARDS ALIVE’s implementation lies primarily on the dedication and effectiveness of the ALIVE Ustadz, leadership of the schoolheads, and the mobilized community support given to the program.

PROGRAM public school system begun in 2005, was primarily aimed to supplement the needs of the Muslim learners not only in Muslim dominated areas but throughout the Country, to promote national unity and harmony in Muslim-Christian relationship
The Arabic Language and Islamic Values
JUSTIFICATION 1 Education (ALIVE) is a curriculum integrated into the K to 12 Curriculum of the Department of Education (DepED) primarily aimed to supplement the needs of the Muslim learners not only in Muslim- dominated areas but throughout the Country. JUSTIFICATION 2 Peace and development is achieved when a certain culture is satisfied especially when individual demand has been fulfilled. The Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) Program is the result of the dedicated efforts of the Department of Education Central, Regional and Division officials and Asatidz (teachers) who believe in the worth and development potential of every Muslim child in multi cultural and diverse environment. The research methodology is in qualitative form JUSTIFICATION 2 The Philippine government through the DepEd has developed the Road Map for Upgrading Muslim Basic Education, a comprehensive program for the educational development of Filipino Muslims, WHICH STIPULATES THE FOLLOWING:
That Muslims, like all other Filipino citizens,
shall have intellectual and educational capacity to participate actively in the social, economic and political endeavors of the country. A progressive Muslim will be a peace-loving and patriotic Filipino citizen who is able to compete in the job market locally and globally to upgrade his/her quality of life. That Muslims as Filipino citizens shall advance their educational status, from which the Philippine nation shall obtain political and economic gains and benefits that will ensure a steady flow of investment, not only in Mindanao but in the whole country. That Muslims as Filipino citizens shall ensure sustained and permanent peace through access to Islamic-friendly educational curriculum and quality basic education comparable to the rest of the Filipino people. That there shall be a strengthening of the present Madrasah educational system as vital component of the national education system. That the peace process shall be enhanced when Filipino Muslims are educated in Islamic-friendly quality basic education which will contribute to the eradication of separatist sentiments in the minds of present and future generations of Filipino Muslims.

Review the ALIVE curriculum implementation in
terms of: Teacher Performance; Quality and relevance of materials ; Learners’ behavior; Management Practices;
Specifically, the study intends to:
- find out if the programs are being carried
out effectively and any major problems and constraints - review the capacity building approach implemented - review the methodology of implementation of ALIVE and its coherence with DepEd policies including the Roadmap for Muslim Education - assess whether the programs are sustainable and what factors will affect sustainability ,and - identify issues for further development for informing the programs and future Muslim education programs/projects.
The research methodology is in qualitative form
METHODOLOGY with the method of interviews and contents analysis. The study will involve _____ public elementary schools located in the urban and rural areas of SOCCSKSARGEN. Data gathering will be in the form of interview schedule thru research-made questionnaire.
