preparing food, clothes and house decorations, but sadly, some people may be unable
to purchase Eid Al-Fitri things owing to the comparatively high cost over time. Usually
they will prepared Eid Al-Fitri decorations such as raya ornaments like colourful lights,

According to Adun Wadeng, 42, my uncle who are staying at Thailand and been
working there, he expressed his excitement for the time he will spend planning Aidilfitri
this year to spend well. He really excited to meet with the other relatives and siblings
from far away. He also tells about the unique things about his village, which is it nears
with a beach, resort and river. Other than that, he states that the villagers is very kind
towards each other and always lend their hand whenever the others have a problem.
In addition, he tells about the activities at their village on Hari Raya. First thing first, he
tells about everyone gathering on the mosque for Solat Hari Raya. After that, he also
tells about next activity which is shaking hands with family and saying sorry for their
wrongdoings. Then, the most important activity on Hari raya is giving money during Hari
Raya because it is a practise that complements the celebration and is done as a way to
show kindness and charity. In addition to family members who are unable to visit their
hometown, others will donate Raya money online or through qr code.

After that, he tells about some meals served during Hari Raya such as ketupat, rendang,
lemang and dodol. The meals are only made or eaten during the holiday, which makes
them even more unique. Muslims naturally look forward to all the food available during
the month of Eid Al-Fitri after fasting for a whole month.
