Hello everyone, this year I decided to migrate back to my hometown to celebrate

Eid al-Fitr with my family. I've been traveling for a year because of college and I
rarely go back to my hometown.

I really miss the atmosphere of my hometown, especially during Eid al-Fitr. The
quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the village and the traditions carried on by the
people always make me feel happy and lively. Besides that, I really miss my
extended family who always get together on holidays.

Even though the trip to my hometown was a bit tiring, I felt very happy and excited
to meet my family and old friends. After arriving at my hometown, I saw houses
decorated with lights and decorations typical of Eid al-Fitr. I also saw children
playing firecrackers and celebrating holidays happily.

When I finally met my extended family, I felt very touched and happy. We hugged
and told each other the latest news from each family. In addition, we also prepare
food and drinks for shared meals when breaking the fast and eating sahur.

When Hari Raya arrives, we dress neatly and go to the mosque to pray Eid al-Fitr
together. After that, we visited neighboring houses together and wished each other
happy holidays. I also help my mother make ketupat and opor ayam for special
holiday dishes.

while traveling back to my hometown to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr was a very

memorable experience for me. I feel happy and grateful to be with my family and
old friends and experience the traditions and customs typical of holidays in my
hometown.
