INSIDE THE EXAMINATION ROOM
Each room shall only have a maximum of sixteen (16) students with
a seating configuration of four (4) columns and four (4) rows.

Proctors will be assigned in each room to assist the professor in

overseeing the conduct of the exams.

Examinees shall be seated in alphabetical order. Each seat will

bear the name of the examinee and the same must only sit on their
designated chair for the duration of the exams. A seat plan shall
be submitted by all proctors to the head proctor at the end of
each exam day for monitoring purposes.
BEFORE THE EXAM
Examinees are required to bring their own laptop, fully charged.
To prevent difficulties in case the laptop should run out of power,
they are advised to bring their own laptop charger, and a back-up
extension cord.

Examinees are advised to bring their pre-packed meals to refrain

from going out of the campus during lunch breaks.

Prior to the start of the exam, all other materials and personal
belongings should remain inside their bags which shall be
deposited to the proctor.
BEFORE THE EXAM
A first bell will be rung at 8:45 am and another at 9:00 am to signify the
start of the morning exams. The same will be rung at 12:45 pm and 1:00 pm
for the afternoon.

Everyone is advised to attend to their personal needs before the first bell.
After the sound of the first bell, no examinee will be allowed to leave the
examination room, except for urgent medical reasons.

Distribution of test questionnaires (face down) will begin at the sound of

the first bell. Examinees shall start answering at the sound of the second
bell.

Examinees may bring light snacks which may be consumed while taking the
exams.
DURING THE EXAM
Examinees shall type their answers in Microsoft Word to be saved periodically
and uploaded to the Google Classroom of the appropriate class via the HNU WiFi
connection.

When one has already completed their exam and is ready to upload the answer
file, they must raise their hand, and a proctor shall approach them to do the
necessary verification to safeguard the submission.

The answer file shall be submitted through the Classwork Tab under the
designated Final Exam Classwork, arranged by the professor days prior.

Should online submission fail, examinees are advised to save their answer file in
their USB device, or, should an examinee’s laptop completely malfunction, they
have the option to write their answers in their composition notebook.
DURING THE EXAM
It will be considered cheating if an examinee is caught with notes, crib
sheets, or “codigos” during the examination, or is caught copying or
allowing another examinee to copy their answers, or opening other
files and online resources during the exam.

Handling another examinee’s laptop during the examination shall be

prima facie evidence of cheating.

Any examinee caught using their laptop for any unauthorized purpose
shall be subject to disciplinary action.

Communicating with another examinee will only be allowed outside of

the designated exam period.
DURING THE EXAM
Proctors shall notify the examinees if it is already: thirty (30); fifteen
(15); and five (5) minutes before the end time of each exam.

To avoid any mishaps, examinees shall leave their laptop (with the
option to charge said device) inside the examination room during
lunch break. Examinees must take their lunch outside of the
examination room and proctors must be assigned to tend to the left
devices.

In between exams or during lunch break, examinees may use their

laptops to check their digital reviewers, or other resources for
purposes of preparing for the next exam, provided, it is done so
discreetly without disturbing the other examinees.
AFTER THE EXAM
Examinees shall collect their laptop and other personal
belongings in a silent and orderly manner.

Each examinee is responsible for their own trash and

assigned seat. An examinee must leave their designated
exam space as clean and in order as it was prior.

Examinees are discouraged from congregating in any area by

the examination rooms as this might disturb others who are
still answering the exams.
An Examinee’s Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Be with me as I take this exam.
Keep my mind alert and my memory sharp.
Calm my nerves and help me concentrate.
I know that you walk with me, guiding my path and inspiring my heart.
I pray that I would feel You with me, and that Your Holy Spirit carry me
throughout every question and every answer. I pray that I would pass
this exam and go on to new and greater things with You.
Thank you for Your peace and love in my life. Thank you for Your
kindness and care for me.
May my success in this exam bring more greater glory to Your name,
through the intercession of the Blessed Mother Mary and our patron,
St. Thomas More,
Amen.
