2. WHAT HOPES AND EXPECTATIONS DO I HAVE ABOUT THIS SUBJECT?

 Practice Honest Communication

 Motivate others to be a good leader
 Be a good example to your subordinates
 Follow through with your commitments
 Set and achieve your goals

3. WHAT ANXIETIES OR CONFUSIONS DO I HAVE ABOUT THIS SUBJECT?

Anxiety might be the most universal felt experience of leadership. Some may call
it “impostor syndrome” or “negative self-talk.” It manifests for each of us in slightly
different ways: Paralyzing fear of doing the wrong thing, overcompensating with hours
and force, frequent direction changes that give our team whiplash.

Leading with fear breeds anxiety, cynicism, distrust, and intimidation, all of which
can be poisonous to any team or organization. These consequences make
transparency and honesty nearly impossible, killing necessary forms of communication.

But being a good leader to our organization we can overcome those anxieties
and confusions when we learned the subject of Understanding Leadership.
