ACTIVITY XII

Make a list of your “Top 5 Tips/ Secrets for Studying” based on your personal experiences/
preferences. Write your answer on the space provided below.

● Find a comfortable place where you can study.

Comfortable place will enable us to concentrate more effectively by

minimizing distractions, boosting relaxation and attentiveness, and reducing

strain. Always study at a workplace with a comfy chair for the optimal outcomes.

● Find good music while studying, to help you keep your focus.

By boosting mood and giving enthusiasm, music in the background might

enable you to concentrate effectively on your tasks. Songs can improve

endurance throughout lengthy study periods. With just some circumstances,

learners have observed that music aids in memorizing. This is probably because

music stimulates a relaxed mood, which in turn enhances information processing.

● Create a schedule with time manageable blocks.

It is bothersome to be required to make a decision about how lengthy to

continue working on a task at hand. Additionally, work often grows to fill the

available time. Time blocking entails making a decision once as to what you will

work on that week (with adjustments as necessary along the process), and then

starting the task that is on your timetable. Our concentration is locked on one job

for a set period of time, which reduces distracting context switching.

● Test yourself on the things that you’ve learned.

You've learnt something if you can respond to a question that you were

unable to respond to in the past. According to Merriam-definition Webster's of

learning as "gaining knowledge or understanding of or skill in by study,

instruction, or experience."

● Teach others what you’ve learned.

Teaching others can have extra advantages beyond enhancing your

capacity to learn the content, such as enhancing leadership, sharing of

information, and confidence capabilities. Explaining a concept to another

individual is the best method to comprehend it. The Roman philosopher Seneca

once stated, "We learn when we teach."
