SUBJECT : SUGGESTING OF THREE (3) ACTVITIES FOR TECHNICAL WRITING

COURSE

Good day.

In accordance to one of the objectives of The Commission on Higher Education (CHED)

in Republic Act No. 7722, to the higher Education of 1994, to improve student success by
promoting equity of access, effective teaching and learning, and curriculum enhancement, with
the twin goals of ensuring that graduates are globally competitive, locally relevant, and socially
responsive.

One of the objectives highlights the insurance of graduates being globally competitive.
Also, the starting point of the success of every students are in the school and the quality of
education that the institution are giving. Limay Polytechnic College is offering technical writing
course that would benefits the learners in different fields of works they would attain in the future.

Furthermore, we are suggesting three (3) activities that would boast the learning skills of
the students and acquire the best strategies in learning technical writings. The suggested
activities are as follows;

1. Writing a letter of intent- this allows the students to used their technological skills and
creativity in making a letter of intent in various aspects according to the rubrics to be given.

2. Writng emails to a company- students will practice writing and sending emails as part of the
process in applying a job in a company they want to work with.

3. Formal Letter Writing- Letters can range from friendly introductions to more formal
announcements with accompanying legal documents. In their more serious capacity, letters seek
to create a formal and documented chain of communication. This will help the students to
formally engage in writing a job application letter as a special case of formal letter.

In addition with this matter, we are highly open for a call of meeting in any clarifications
for the best quality of education to our students.
