    Division: Hepatophyta / Marchantiophyta

    1. With the aid of fully labeled diagrams, illustrate the habit of the gametophyte of the following.
    Classify and write short notes on the features of interest.
    Pallavicinia sp., Bazzania sp., Frullania sp., Plagiochila sp., Marchantia sp., Dumortiera sp.,
    Riccia sp. Plagiochasma sp. and Lunularia sp.

    2. Examine the following slides on demonstration. Make suitable diagrams to illustrate the
    internal tissue differentiation.
    i. Marchantia sp. – T.S. thallus, L.S. archegoniophore, L.S. antheridiophore,
    L.S. gemma cup, Sporophyte
    ii. Riccia sp., Dumortiera sp., Plagiochasma sp. and Lunularia sp. -T.S. thallus

    Division: Bryophyta

    1. With the aid of fully labeled diagrams, illustrate the habit of the following. Classify and write
    short notes on the features of interest.
    Rhodobryum sp., Pogonatum sp., Sphagnum sp., Calymperes sp., Fissidens sp.

    2. Examine the leaf like structure of Sphagnum sp.and Fissidens sp. Make suitable diagrams to
    illustrate the internal tissue differentiation.

    Division: Anthocerophyta

    With the aid of fully labeled diagrams, illustrate the habit and internal tissue differentiation
    of the gametophyte and the structure of the sporophyte of Anthoceros sp. Classify and write
    short notes on the features of interest.
