Read the Mang Inasal Story and answer the following questions
1. Do you think you can achieve the success similar to “Injap”? Yes/No. Explain 50words
Everyone can achieve anything if they put their mind to it. Injap’s success with Mang
Inasal was not just luck and a favor from God but also because of his perseverance and
determination. If I can persevere and be determined enough like Injap, I can also achieve
that success someday.
2. What important lessons we can get from the success story of Mang Inasal? (3 lessons)

a. We must persevere to achieve our goal.


b. Having determination and belief in oneself plays bigger part in achieving our goal.
c. Taking the risk is always the number one ingredient of success.

3. What benefits can an inventor get from his /her inventions?


The benefits that an inventor can get from his/her inventions are the right to control the
commercial use of their inventions and incentives.
4. What is that Philippine law that rewards inventors and protect inventions? State the
Republic Act and the name of that law.
Republic Act No. 3850, also known as “Philippine Inventors Incentives Act”, created
a Philippine Inventors Commission which promotes and encourages the creation and
manufacture of Philippine inventions. It was signed on April 13, 1964. This law was
amended through Presidential Decree No. 1423 on June 9, 1978 which goal is “to ensure
that deserving investors are adequately encouraged and supported through appropriate
incentives particularly in the production and marketing of useful inventions”.
