 Poverty
- One of the reasons why poverty is still relevant today aside from not being
properly addressed by the world leaders but also the people themselves were
out of control and not disciplined. But also, we must consider and
understand that poverty can not be resolved and subdue totally because it is
part of the way of the universe but we can at least alleviate it. These are some
of the solutions that I think can help lessen the cases of poverty in our
society. First is having more skill-related job opportunities for the poor.
Humans are naturally skilled specie. They use their skill for survival and
because of that they can learn the skill faster than learning math and
language. Thankfully, we already have programs that offer free skill-related
job trainings like TESDA which helped a lot of Filipinos especially the poor.
And the second solution is organizing sex education and family planning
programs in our society. We all know that one of the reasons why a family is
poor is because of having a lot of children. Some families have 12 or more
children but are having a problem of raising all of them. They already have
small income and they still need to feed and dress these 12 or more children.
And also because of the lack of knowledge and education regarding to sexual
health they kept on producing until they can not bear with it. So having sex
education and family planning programs may help them be aware of the
advantages and benefits of having few children and how can they avoid
producing more.
