The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are eight goals with measurable targets and clear deadlines

for improving the lives of the world's poorest people. To meet these goals and eradicate poverty,
leaders of 189 countries signed the historic millennium declaration at the United Nations
Millennium Summit in 2000. At that time, eight goals that range from providing universal primary
education to avoiding child and maternal mortality were set with a target achievement date of 2015.

The MDG-F contributed directly and indirectly to the achievement of the Millennium Development
Goals, with the main driver behind its work being the eradication of extreme poverty. The Fund
adopted an inclusive and comprehensive approach to the MDGs, embracing the discourse on climate
change as it relates to poverty while incorporating other programme areas that are recognized as
prerequisites and/or mechanisms for MDG achievement. Our approach was guided by the
Millennium Declaration and its emphasis on development as a right, with targeted attention directed
towards traditionally marginalized groups such as ethnic minorities, indigenous groups and women.

As the table below illustrates, six out of the eight MDG-F programmatic areas addressed one or more
of the MDGs and their respective targets, while the last two played an important contributing role.

EXPLANATION:

Because of the poverty and hunger the people having this kind of
situation is increasing, the more that need some action to prevent it.
The more problem here is they don’t have food and also they don’t have
a house to live for. Here in the picture because of the lack of foods they
look malnourished. They are planning to reduce families because of
the experience between the hunger and poverty, even to the senior
citizen of kids they are the example who need foods but rather than
they don’t give some attention to the weak and poor people. They can’t
find food because most of the people lives in the street are the people
doesn’t have an education and they are dependent form the help of the
people.

I think that government must focus and have an immediate

plan to this kind of problem because in the Philippines this one
is the big problem. But the most solution of this is the
Education because if you have education you can handle your
life and you can find some Job to get some money to buy
foods for your family. Poor people need jobs for them to supply
their everyday needs as well. When the people is educated he
can find Jobs and money as well. But in this kind of
situation they are dependent to the help of governments and
for them it will be the solution but suddenly not all the time
that government can help them and give their needs, so for me
they will or can give them education especially to the kids/
Children.

The children of any areas here in the Philippines especially in the rural areas are
affected by hunger and malnutrition that has a big impact to a learning
ability. Why? Because more people said that if the children go to school without
foods in their tummy their mind will be affect like they cannot study well
because their mind is still processing. The Food and Agricultural Organization
of the UN claims that approximately 57 million primary school age children
are not able to attend school; 80 % of whom live in rural areas. And you sees in
the picture that they can’t study well because they don’t have a comforting place
or even a chair that they will feel comfortable, or should I say they don’t have a
respective place for a student and for me they can’t study well in this kind of
place.

EXPLANATION:

I give in the picture is the food security the most need of all the people
like the Children who is studying for them to be excited going to
school. As such, food security and primary education should be sent
by the government at the same time to give people the capacity to feed
themselves and succeed in hunger, poverty, and illiteracy. Also the
solution is the donation from the government. It helps when they give
all the needs of the student or the things that they can study well,
like some chairs, shoes and also a supplies. By donating they can
have their own progress by keeping or saving the needs of the people or
a student. Nothing but the help from the government. Also Social
Protection it can give some support for the people who needs education
or to prevent people from hunger. In the rural areas Teacher are the
only one needs to pay for because they also need a money for their
family education should be valued.

Look out to a picture they are having a fight with a rope between two
groups, the boys trying to know for what girls can do. In the
situation most the men are still believing that the girls cannot do
what boys can do for. And suddenly they are wrong because woman
can have a job too and they can do any job what man can do. Because
of this gender inequality man empowers woman that can lead to a
total destruction, and to an unpaid housework, causes women to stop
from developing their skills and from producing an income. Despite
the clear gender inequalities, policies and strategies at the
agricultural, regional and village level lack the necessary approaches
to tackle these issues. Because woman has right like a man.

We should treat woman fairly as a person or a people because they can

do what man can do for, Gender Equality can help for the
understanding that we should respect them with a fairly matter.
Empowering woman is giving them rights and enjoying their rights
too. It is very important to promote the total and equitable
participation of both men and women in efforts aimed at improving
poverty deduction, food security, and sustainable rural development.
For sure if we don’t have a Gender Equality they still empower the
women. We should respect one another with the same value as you sees
them as a person. We need to see the value of one person for the unity
that can provide for Philippines, or even we can achieved more things
if we’re doing those things as one. And we’re pertaining our duty as a
person, as a woman or as a man.
 Problem / Situation:

EXPLANATION:

If you see this picture the problem here is the problem here is the children who
suffered the most and unfortunately they have illness to their selves. Under
nutrition is estimated to contribute to more than 33 percent of all deaths in
children under five. So, efforts to improve household food security and nutrition
have increased the chances of children growing to adulthood. Some of the deaths
occur from illnesses like measles, malaria or tetanus. Others result indirectly
from marginalization, conflict and HIV/AIDS. Malnutrition and the lack of
safe water and sanitation contribute to half of all these children’s deaths. But
disease isn’t inevitable, nor do children with these diseases need to die. Like they
are just a children that they can manage this kind of illness by their selves,
and the most is when their parents did not care or the parents who need to care
for children. These measures of the actions to help children survive, carried
through with hundreds of allies and via offices in the field.

The best solution here is the caring from the mother, or even when the
mother giving birth to their child when they are Pregnant they should take
care of their self because it has a possibilities that the illness of the mother
can give it to the baby. These solutions are among the various
interventions World Vision employs in its work to promote maternal and
child health. World Vision works with communities to train and equip
midwives and local health workers; with governments and corporate
partners to provide supplies and resources to clinics and hospitals; and
with parents to teach best practices in the care and nurture of their young
children. And they are need the most is some life - saving medicines or a
supplies so that’s why the children will grow stronger but the most is the
care from their mother. And we should pray for continued progress in
protecting children from disease and malnutrition. And one of the needs
of the baby is a breastfeeding because it is important to the whole life of a
baby. The government must also provide programs and services to the
family of these children that needs the full support and help of the
government.

EXPLANATION:
The problem here is the pregnant that doesn’t have enough supplies or
an equipment, should I say most of the pregnant is having their
check up in their house or in a wrong place, and that was not safe for
the baby. The pregnant is need a safe place and some equipment to
their weekly or monthly checking, and some other problem is they
some pregnant didn’t go to check up for a long time. It encompasses
the health care dimensions of family
planning, preconception, prenatal, and postnatal care in order to
ensure a positive and fulfilling experience in most cases and reduce
maternal morbidity and mortality in other cases, and some other it
will cause to the maternal death.

EXPLANATION:

It needs the care and safety medicines and equipment for a mother and a
child. Involving men to help for the mother is needed to improve maternal
wellbeing woman, because the safe motherhood is the responsibility of a
woman and a man or even for giving a good life for a child. Antenatal
care sessions give men the opportunity to be involved in education about
care of the new born, contraception and limiting family size. We also
work hard with village chiefs to engage them in our programmes so they
can see the benefit of good maternal health. Stemming from unsafe
abortions, we need to ensure that all women have access to a range of
contraceptive options so they can prevent unwanted pregnancies and have
access to safe abortion services. In this regard, it is critical that states in
conflict and donor states prioritise access to comprehensive sexual and
reproductive health services for women. In all this kind of cases a lot of
people is dependent to the help from a government.

The problem here is the patients that are suffering from HIV/AIDS, and
suddenly until now it has a big percent for those who people who have this
kind of diseases HIV is a sexually transmitted to a diseases. And even
malaria, malaria is endemic in large parts of the developing world,
particularly in tropical and subtropical regions. Because many cases of
malaria are not clinically diagnosed or reported to official agencies, it is
hard to gauge the full extent of the epidemic. HIV, malaria and other
diseases are direct and indirectly cause some impacts to a food and a
nutrition. HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria are among the world’s
biggest killers, and all have their greatest impact on poor countries and
poor people.

EXPLANATION:

In this kind of illness your partner should know if you have an HIV
because if they didn’t know about it the partner who have a
relationship is it will be pass through you partner. Ensure predictable
and sustained funding to address the HIV/AIDS pandemic. And for
malaria we should take care of ourselves, suddenly from house and
even to the other places because malaria came from the insects or
mosquitos, just close the window and be careful from what place did
you go. Just keep safe from having those kind of illness. And be
prepared if you have it, you should take the right medicine and
consult a doctor for what are the best thing to do. Take decisive action
to control and treat neglected tropical diseases.

look you see in the picture is the pollution from the garbage or a trash
because the problem here is they don’t care of a nature and suddenly they
are just keep on throwing in a wrong place and that’s the big mistake that
people did in our country, they forget the importance of the nature, and
they really forget that this would be the source of everything. Look out of
the trees, here in an urban we cannot see more trees and in the picture it’s
the only one standing and giving light, and the most problem is they are
cutting trees, they didn’t care for it and suddenly they are just wondering
that the beauty sees in building because some other reason, they cut trees
for the building and they even know that the trees give fresh air. For me
this would be the bug problem is the nature, because more people didn’t
sustain cleanliness and they are not giving importance to it.

As we study further we should know our limits for our environment

because we are the one who need to support and taking care of it. We
should know the important of our nature especially to the trees, we
should stop cutting trees, and we should plant more trees, because
trees is the source of food, l giving protection from a landslide and to
a rain, We need to plant because it gives life and beauty as itself.
And we should throw our trash in a specific place, a trash bag, trash
bin and into a garbage bag. We should sustain the beauty of our
nature by caring and loving our places. We must be educated from it,
we must prevent doing bad things in our nature or environment and
especially to our surroundings. We should protect it like we own it.

here in our country is not totally developed like clearly, they are poorly
doesn’t have any home, clothes, a shelter a food for many people, and
suddenly just because of not having a global partnership, to stand alone is
hard, and suddenly we need some helps from other country. Although the
world economy and security have become highly interconnected and the
wellbeing of each nation has a quick impact on the others, the nations are
little prepared to work as a team in addressing the global issues. Although
nations interact in a global village, they relate among themselves with
inadequate spirit of solidarity. Because if we don’t have a communication
or to a global cities, the more affected is our country and a poor people, they
are suffering the most.

Having a strong partnership in the other countries is the best one

for having help and having a unity from one another, we can ask
some help and also we can help them. We should address the
special needs of at least develop countries. Deal comprehensively
with the debt problems of developing countries. We should have
help each other then our world will be a better place. And suddenly
they can give medical help and a community improvement.
