ASSESSMENTS

Task 1:
1. Discuss awareness campaign, activities, and implementation of
programs/projects of
Gender and Development in your:
1.1. Community
I noticed in our community that they are aware of GAD because we see a lot of
campaign, activities that they conduct in our community. The LGBTQ&A+ community
was an active participant of that program because they are the one who benefited
the result. They are supported by the LGU and the municipality. A lot of programs and
campaigns are conducted to promote gender and development. One of these was
the filmmaking which I am also a participant of. Almost every month they are
conducting campaigns just to teach and enlighten the people on how important
gender and development is in our lives. Through this program a lot of people are
happy because the government knows and values them whatever gender they have.

1.2. School
I noticed that some educators did not observe the eradication of gender.
preconceptions and their inclusion in educational programs like learning resources
and instructional techniques due to a lack of support, supervision, Providing services
from the organisations to teachers, particularly in the Education Department Lack of
school health programs, projects, and services for youth lack of cooperation, lack of
development and aligned sports development and collaboration with individuals,
groups, and organisations for specific goals absence of monitoring and other GAD
support services, a lack of knowledge, evaluation and analysis to help the creation of
learner support policies and service provision, a lack of career counselling and
guidance services, and activities that provide students with professional possibilities
and choices that are in line with GAD. so We must review the curriculum and assign
more shared responsibility for contextualizing it in line with gender and development
program standards, especially when it comes to the delivery of instructional
materials and methodologies to learners of all backgrounds. For continual
improvement, the monitoring and evaluation technical working group should
rigorously monitor and assess the gender and development activities in the
classroom and throughout the school. Regardless of the gender preferences of each
student, gender parity should be enforced regularly in the classroom to end gender
discrimination. Future research can be done to determine the effects of gender and
development program design in the classroom with regards to program
differentiation in connection to gender equality and equity, integrating other variables
using the triangulation technique.
1.3. At home
I noticed that in our home we did not practice this kind of principle since my family
was a christian and i was born into the teachings of the church. According to the
teachings of the church there are two genders created by God the men and women
only and it is against the LGBTQ&A+ community, although we respect them but
hangang doon lang yun we did not accept their doings that are against the teachings
of the bible. When it comes to gender roles in my family we follow the traditional one
which is the mens provide the family needs womens are only in the house taking
care of the children and doing household chores. In conclusion we do not implement
these GAD because the tradition of my family was not modern and it roots from my
ancestors and we cannot change that belief.

2. How important is institutionalising Gender and Development?

- Institutionalising gender and development is one of being normal in our

society now because people are aware of what it is and it is more developed
now not just like before. I think it is important and it must be institutionalised
to have freedom and peace on both sides, also to become a law based
discipline. If this GAD was in the institution we could easily protect the rights
of every individual who are victims of abuses and punish the people who
abuse them. Actually we have the GAD in our 1987 constitution the magna
carta for women which aims to protect women and children from abuse.
However, at this time a lot of experts in laws said that it was inadequate
because as times go by the society changes so they want to strengthen that
law to strengthen the GAD so that we are all safe and secure.

3. In the present era where GAD has been given spotlight, what do you think is still
lacking in the implementation or mainstreaming of GAD.
- People need to realise how severe this condition is; a youngster experiencing boogie
man fear is not only a child who needs to be disciplined. It should be simpler for
everyone with this illness to qualify for disability if their condition is severe enough.
This is more in line with experiencing daily worry of losing your loved ones or another
important aspect of who you are. The public needs to be made aware of how many
children already have GAD and will be thrown into the educational system's
equivalent of a meat grinder as a result. I have had teachers scream and yell at me
for having panic attacks because they were powerless to stop the rest of the class
from leaving the classroom.
Stop your kids from thinking, "Hey, it's fun to terrify that kid into jumping and crying! Teach
them to say no! We don't bully, torture, or even threaten anyone for fun if you do, get ready
to share an 8 by 10 by 10 prison cell with a bunch of other jerks.
My entire life has been marred by parents that fail to install ANY form of self-control in their
children. What type of parent allows their child to kidnap and viciously beat a smaller child
who jumps and cries due to GAD? An eye for an eye makes the entire world blind, but after
being brutally tortured by my peers, I sure do embrace the Old Testament more. I will NOT
be brutally tortured for others' sick and perverted kicks that way, we can find out why so
many GAD sufferers are suffering and stop the kids from destroying themselves (and others)
Before a child is allowed to participate in social activities, we need to make sure they are
aware of GAD. After that, we need to continue teaching them love and compassion for one
another, not things like, "Hey, you've got the cool jacket on; let's go beat up someone with a
cheap one."
Many things can wait, but this simple statement, "Anxiety sufferers are NOT for anyone's
amusement. They are unwell and deserve to be treated with more respect than most people
evidently can teach their young," cannot.
