ANSWERS
(a) age
Ageism involves stereotyping
or ddiscrimination against
peoppeople based on their age
and can occur both in work
place and in your persona life.
ageism can be directed at older
aadults and young people how
ever our culture tend to glorify
the youth. so older people are
more often the victim of age.
now lets talk about the positive
and negative impact of age.
THE NEGATIVE IMPACT
OF AGE
The world's population is
getting order and by 2050,
about fifth of all people will be
aged over 60. all countries are
affected bythis issues but
more especially those with
rapidly changing economics
are now seeing the fastest
changes in overall
poppopulation. and one of the
negative impact is HEALTH.
Healthy problems can make it
harder for elderly people to
care for themselves and carry
out nomal daily tasks like
washing, cooking and walking
around. going through
significant changes in life such
as retirement and breavement,
can also make it harder to cope
with illness.
second impact is that it can be
difficut for older people to find
a place within communities.
sometimes young people may
see tthem as old fashioned,
ththey might also assume that
all old people are frail or
comfused.
also as go through life, our
bodies experience damage and
start to wear out. these changes
in physical or mental ability in
order people.eg hearing and
sight loss back and joint
pain,breathing difficulties and
heart problems.
they also experience mental
problem for example, dementia
which is brain condition which
affects thinking and memory.
THE POSITIVE IMPACT OF
AGE
Despite of all these negative
we have discussed, age also
has positive impact and some
of them are now discussed
bellow:
some elderly people find that
they have more time to spend
with family and friends later in
life.
they might also be able to help
care for the grand children or
pass on skills to younger
generations
some older people take the
opportunity pick up ne skills
and hobbies.old people have
more experience and can often
provide good advice to
younger people who are facing
difficulty in decisions some
times they can also provide a
defferent perspective on
disagreements or unfamiliar
circumstances.
(b) Education
Education is important in
every individual and
communities around the world.
it has some negative and
positive impact.
lets talk about the positive
impact of education
THE NEGATIVE IMPACT
OF EDUCATION
Moral. Education is
worsening the level of
moral values a child has.it
inculcate a kind of
competitiveness that borders
on unhealth relationships.
Social. social is killinkilling
our sense of empathy
Lack of wisdom. the moden
education system is all
about getting loads of
cabbage into a little mind it
expect a student to complete
huge portions and thats
what students are doing but
in a wrong way .rote
memory is being stressed on
rather than creative. this one
of the sadest aspects of
modern society. we have
knowledge but no wisdom
to use it.
THE POSITIVE IMPACT OF
EDUCATION
one of the postive impact of
education is ECONOMIC
DEVEMENT the hunge
percentage of those living in
this world come under the
category of poor, they can,t
even afford basic necessities of
life food and clothing.so if a
lot of people can get educated
they can come out the clutches
of poverty as it has been
proved by by a number of
people like Charllie Chaplin
and oprah winfrey.yes am
point the fact that if you want
to get get a job u need to be
educated as a steady job , the
economy of the country as a
whole develop aswell.
Education also play an
important role in maintaining
the health of an individual and
also the rate of child mortality
