COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND ITS IMPACT ON HEALTHCARE

The COVID-19 pandemic has overwhelmed healthcare systems around the world,
having a knock-on effect on the diagnosis and treatment of other diseases.

Social distancing and lock-downs have reduced diagnosis rates of infectious diseases
such as seasonal influenza, as would be expected with reduced social contact.

However, individuals have avoided seeking help for other health problems due to lock
downs and avoidance of medical settings, leading to reduced diagnosis and treatment
despite the problem still being there. Meanwhile, even in diagnosed cases, treatment for
diseases and conditions such as cancer had to be postponed in many cases due to the
immediate threat of COVID-19 consuming health systems and their resources.

Scientific research around the world has also focused on COVID-19, potentially
delaying research and breakthroughs on other diseases.

Furthermore, other infectious diseases such as malaria, HIV and tuberculosis were put
on the sidelines, despite still being very real problems, particularly in more vulnerable
populations. An assessment by the Bill & Melinda Gates foundations in September 2020
assessed data on vaccine coverage from the first portion of the pandemic and came to
a conclusion that vaccine coverage in health systems had been pushed back around 25
years in 25 weeks.

Before the pandemic, around half of the world's population did not have access to
essential healthcare, and this number has been increased by the pandemic. Healthcare
systems across the globe need to become more accessible and need to be prepared for
future pandemic-like events in a way that will reduce the impact on the management of
other diseases.
2. GLOBAL TERRORISM

American author Bell Hooks writes, “There is no life to be found in violence. Every act of
violence brings us closer to death. Whether it’s the mundane violence we do to our
bodies by overeating toxic food or drink or the extreme violence of child abuse,
domestic warfare, life-threatening poverty, addiction, or state terrorism.” This is true, as
the fear of violence and death that people are constantly gripped with can completely
ruin their current lives. The terror in people all over the earth is the worst.

A pleasant good morning to the Principal, Teachers and my Dear Friends!

I am _______ and I stand here in front of you all to talk about something that does not
and should not need any occasion. Friends, I am talking about global terrorism that no
one has been able to escape. It is a problem that has been pestering the countries all
over the globe for a long time now and the daily news reports of bombings, terrorists
breaking in, and taking innocent lives are truly heart wrenching.

Terrorism has become a big national and international problem all over the world. It is a
global issue which has affected almost all the nations throughout the world directly or
indirectly. Opposing terrorism has been tried by many countries however; terrorists are
still getting support by someone. Terrorism is a violent act of terrifying the common
public anytime in the day or night. Terrorists have many objectives such as spreading
threat of violence in the society, fulfilling political purposes, etc. They make civilians of
the country their primary target.

Some of the examples of terrorism are bombing of US Embassy, atom bomb attack on
Hiroshima and Nagasaki, etc. The main goal of the terrorists is fulfillment of their
demands by the government of a specific country. They contact online social media or
newspaper, magazine, etc to spread their voices to the public and government.
Sometimes, terrorists attack is done to fulfill the religious and ideological goal.

This is all I have to say, thank you!

3.HOW CAN THIS COUNTRY REDUCE THE GAP BETWEEN SOCIAL CLASSES?
Social class is a crucial aspect of society that has been in existence for centuries. It is a
reflection of how individuals are positioned in a social hierarchy based on their income,
education, occupation, and other factors. Unfortunately, in many countries, there is a
significant gap between social classes, with some individuals enjoying more privileges
and opportunities than others. This situation creates an unequal society where some
people are left behind and unable to fulfill their potential. However, there are several
ways in which this gap can be reduced.
The first step towards reducing the gap between social classes is to provide equal
opportunities for all individuals.
- This means that the government needs to invest in education, healthcare, and other
essential services to ensure that everyone has access to them. A well-educated and
healthy workforce is essential for economic growth, and providing equal opportunities
can help to level the playing field. Additionally, the government can implement policies
that promote equal access to employment, including affirmative action programs, which
can help to increase representation of marginalized communities in the workforce.
Another way to reduce the gap between social classes is to implement progressive
taxation.
- Progressive taxation is a system where individuals who earn more pay a higher
percentage of their income in taxes. This system can help to redistribute wealth from the
wealthy to the less privileged individuals in society. The revenue generated from
progressive taxation can then be used to provide essential services such as education,
healthcare, and infrastructure to those who need them the most.
In addition to progressive taxation, the government can implement policies that promote
income equality. This can be achieved by increasing the minimum wage, providing job
training programs, and promoting the formation of labor unions. These policies can
provide workers with the tools and resources they need to earn a decent living wage,
which can help to reduce poverty and increase social mobility.
Furthermore, the government can also invest in affordable housing programs to help
low-income families and individuals. Housing is a basic need, and providing affordable
housing can help to reduce the financial burden on families and individuals, allowing
them to allocate their resources towards other essential needs such as food, healthcare,
and education. Additionally, affordable housing can help to reduce homelessness, which
is a significant issue in many countries.
Lastly, reducing the gap between social classes requires a collective effort from all
members of society. Individuals can play a role by supporting policies that promote
income equality, volunteering in programs that support marginalized communities, and
advocating for the rights of those who are less privileged.

In 10 years, I see myself healthier and more sensible than today. A good lifestyle,
distance from unhealthy habits and hence, a stronger mind and body to live in or with is
significant. How can I be a support to my family or myself in any respect if I choose to
be careless about my well-being? So, a healthier mind and body are definite to happen.
The last but never the least, I aspire to be a better human being within next 10 years. I
wish my will power strengthens and so does my wisdom. I will be able to distinguish
between right and wrong after 10 years, whose endeavor begins from here, the present.
A better understanding of life, a tendency to resolve matters with and for peace, a clear
conscience and fair decisive power- I will attain these abilities within next 10 years.
In conclusion, I see myself after 10 years as a dedicated professional, loving and caring
member of family and a better human being. A person who can be sought for advice,
help and suggestions, who is a good citizen and values simple things of happiness in
life- these must be my qualities by the end of next decade. And it is important to know
that these visions can come true only if the venture begins today.

8. HAS SOCIAL MEDIA AND TEXT TALK DIMINISHED THE NEED FOR SPELLING
AND GRAMMAR SKILSS?WHY OR WHY NOT?
Social media have been changing the individuals' method for living in many ways
especially in the objects linked to the communication domain, knowledge, and
education. It means also suggests one of the necessities of human life will be achieved;
to communicate and interact with other beings. Therefore, In the era of globalization,
many people use social media around the world as a significant toll of their lives, but it
influences changing the language that we communicate with others. In my opinion,
social media have positive and negative effects on language. There are many positive
effects that social media changing language when people need to communicate with
each other such as easy communication. So, social media often could be helpful, and
give a positive value to language. For example, when we use a conversation in the
tool’s social media, we have had many new words added to the language dictionary for
doing a well understanding and could identify a better quickly responding to get clear
feedback. As consequently, many people using this kind of communication to try to
create a shorts way to communicate with each other such as abbreviations, emoticons,
pictures, symbols, specific vocabulary, and meaning. In addition, to easily make
communication many people use social media as a tool to Learn with Correcting
mistakes that online conversation gives help when the audience you are talking to
correct when you misspell one word, or you write that incorrectly. This method going to
be help learning faster from mistakes and re-corrected. Even though many people
Agree they understand other’s emotions since of the pictorial use of language, but some
of them don’t understand it depend on the difference of the generation. For example,
the generation of 21centry could use and understand the kind of language coming from
the social media effect on language nor other generations could not. As a result, the
positive effect of social media on the changing language could be given a value to more
making easier the tongue and ever to contribute to development. Nevertheless, there
are many negative effects that social media changing language when people need to
communicate with each other’s such as people most of the time deformed words and
deviation from the mother tongue. Moreover, speakers make mistakes when they use
slang and acronyms, and they use shorten some words. Also, many people deformed
words when they Use of incorrect grammar and expression, demonstrating thoughts
more in pictures than in words or use any abbreviations. As consequently, we are living
in a period in which people doing everything quickly. No one has the time to use
language correctly with correct structure in this century. Then, we are living in a period
in which people doing everything quickly. Nobody has time to use language with
complete thought and grammar since we are living in a period in which people trying to
simplify things. For example, Instagram and Facebook users use to shorten words like
#hashtags. There are no complete thoughts, meaning and not all people understand the
word. As a result, the language will lose its roots, Elderly people cannot understand this
kind of communication and users become lazy in the correct use of this kind of
language. In my view, the negative effects that social media has on the language are
more than the positive effects. This is means that language becomes to change
grammatically, speaking changes in a rapid way and the social media domain is not a
real world. For example, when people using a word becomes a trend on social media all
users try to use that, but this does not help the language because not all trendy words
are used in a correct way. Also, when new words are used on social media, the existing
language is used less. As a result, the negative effects that social media changing
language push to create obstacles to communicate, become poorer in vocabulary, and
have a possibility to return to communication through symbols. In conclusion, social
media has many positive and negative effects on language, but negative effects are
more than positive since language has some structure and procedure that must be
respected if we need to protect the language. I propose to link the language with the
local culture to more understanding the roots of language and protect the tongue.

10. SPECIFIC NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION THAT HAS
INFLUENCED PEOPLE’S LIVES.
Pollution is widespread all over the world. We all know that Pollution has become so
dangerous and rising continuously. The term ‘pollution’ means the burning of fossil fuels,
burning firecrackers, etc., which creates pollution. When we talk about pollution on
earth, we refer to the unwanted work done by humans and the burning of fossil fuels.
This is mainly caused by human activities that damage the environment in several
ways. Therefore, pollution harms our planet, and we must recognize these impacts to
stop the harm. Pollution Impacts Quality of Life More than one can realize, pollution
impacts one's quality of life. Sometimes it works in mysterious ways that are invisible to
the human eye. However, the environment contains a lot of it. For instance, even if you
can't see them, natural gases are still in the air. Similarly, pollutants pollute the air and
raise carbon dioxide levels to be highly toxic for people. Global warming will lead to a
rise from increased carbon dioxide levels. There will be a shortage of drinking water as
a result of the pollution of the water caused by industrial development, religious rituals,
and other factors. Human life is not feasible without water. In addition, the way waste is
dumped on the ground eventually causes the soil to become poisonous. We won't have
fertile soil to cultivate our crops if land pollution continues to occur at this rate. As a
result, significant steps must be taken to decrease pollution significantly. Types of
Pollution Air Pollution Water Pollution Soil Pollution How to Reduce Pollution People
should use public transportation or carpools to reduce vehicle smoke to reduce air
pollution. Avoiding firecrackers at festivals and celebrations can also reduce air and
noise pollution, although it may be challenging. Above all, we need to make recycling a
habit. The oceans and land are polluted by the used plastic which goes to people's
homes for daily use. So remember to reuse them as long as possible rather than
throwing them away after use. Additionally, we must encourage everyone to plant more
trees, clearing the air by absorbing harmful gases. To protect the fertility of the soil, the
government must restrict the use of fertilizers. In addition, it must be illegal for
businesses to dump rubbish into rivers and the ocean, which pollutes the water.
Conclusion - All forms of pollution are dangerous and have significant impacts.
Everyone, from people to whole industries, must move toward change. We must work
together now since solving this issue requires a team effort. In addition, these human
actions are taking the innocent lives of animals. So, we need to keep this planet
pollution-free. We must all take a position and speak up against pollution.
