Activity 3: ESSAY

As the world is suffering from a serious crisis, the only significant things I can
contribute in the society is the knowledge, unity and humanity I have. I believe that
these 3 things are they key to a growing, developing and expanding community.
Nowadays, our country is facing an enormous dilemma that already lasts for
almost 12 months. It leads to economy’s breakdown that engendered people to suffer
from poverty or to starve to death. This deadly virus had already taken millions of lives
and makes everything worst. As a learner, sharing my knowledge is one way to ease
this difficulty we are struggling. We can open up our ideas to others and also learn from
them. Through having the brainstorming process, exchanging of beliefs and opinions
that will give way in creating solution to the problem. We need to apply the knowledge
we learn to our day-to-day life encounter. Education is the only powerful weapon we
could have especially in this kind of crisis and is the fuel to rise up again.
After the knowledge has been shared, it is important to have a common ground
and solidarity in reaching a particular goal. During this time of pandemic, we are
physically separated by one another but our ties should still bind us as one and remain
together. Let’s fight this crisis through the power of teamwork and camaraderie. We
should be an active citizen of the community who is ready to involve himself/herself or
cooperate on any activities/tasks in the society. We should serve a helping hand to each
other and together find the way and take the risks no matter what just to get things back
the way it used to be and to look forward on brighter and peaceful days ahead.
While the pandemic’s long-lasting impact has affected public health, there are
abundant of judgements and discrimination appear to people who got infected with this
virus and as well as their families. Some of them receive a bad and unpleasant
treatment from others. Vulnerable people have encountered shocking discrimination.
Some front liner’s family also experience fallout of COVID-19. It is sad to know that
situations like these still exists and continues to happen. Why degrade other people
instead of helping them? Why would they receive criticisms rather than getting words of
encouragement that would help them to lift up their mood and boosts their self-esteem
and self-confidence? We must spread love, care and positivity to all people. Thinking
wisely before making an actions is an important thing to do in order to avoid any
misconceptions or troubles that may come along. We shouldn’t just think for our own
sake, let’s consider other people’s feeling and emotions because they are also human
being capable of getting hurt and receiving pain. Stop Discrimination, Spread Love and
together we will combat this virus and we will all hail as our country Philippines will be
declared as covid-free because we will win as whole and will heal as one.
