    ODILIA – HOMEROOM –

    (SIP REFLECTION)

    Global hunger is one of the issues that the majority of countries are suffering

    from, and the reasons for this are poverty, weak government, and natural disasters. Due

    to hunger issues, many people died or even committed crimes just to feed themselves

    or their families. 

    As I volunteered for the SIP activities held by St. Scholastica's Academy, which

    are to give food to the young children, the activity was fun and heartwarming. I enjoy

    watching the kids having fun themselves and how their lovely faces look when my

    classmate gives them food. The children's smile touched my heart so much that it made

    me realize how lucky I am to be able to eat three times a day. This activity taught me to

    always be generous with what I have because maybe some people also dream of the

    life I have right now, and also to share what I have with those in need. Love and care for

    one another are the only things needed to stop the global hunger issue.
