Internal dan Eksternal Factors of Farmers at the research location. The most dominant
differences between farmer respondents from the Sekar Abadi farmer group and Wiji
Aji Bumi are age, non-formal education and cultivation.

The factors related to the behavior of farmers from the Sekar Abadi farmer group are
procurement of inputs, cultivation and marketing. Meanwhile, the behavior of farmers
from the Wiji Aji Bumi farmer group is habit, cultivation and marketing

Most of the farmers' behavior from members of the Sekar Abadi and Wiji Aji Bumi
farmer groups towards the Batu Go Organic program are mostly neutral.
-Procurement of production inputs sub-varibel: Respondents from the Wiji Aji Bumi
farmer group; positive behavior, Respondents from the Sekar Abadi farmer group;
positive behavior
-Cultivation sub-variable: Respondents from the Wiji Aji Bumi farmer group; neutral
behavior, Respondents from the Sekar Abadi farmer group; neutral behavior
-Marketing sub-variable: Respondents from the Wiji Aji Bumi farmer group; negatif
behavior, Respondents from the Sekar Abadi farmer group; negatif behavior
The Agriculture Office of Batu City, especially through field extension
agents (PPL) or field inspectors, also routinely monitors the
distribution of input assistance to the Batu Go Organic Program.

It is recommended that farmers, especially from the Wiji Aji Bumi and
Sekar Abadi farmer groups start trying to market rice with complete
attributes.

In addition, it is better for semi-organic farmers to start trying not to

use chemicals (fertilizers / pesticides) anymore in farming and
switching to organic farming. Meanwhile, organic farmers are
expected to remain consistent in implementing organic farming.

“Dinas Pertanaian Kota Batu” fully supports the organic farming

program in Pendem Village, not only providing input production but
post-harvest guarantees, especially the marketing of the products
produced.
