The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen is organizing the 33rd International Summer
Language School, which takes place 10 – 28 July 2023. The Summer School of Slavonic
Languages (SSSL) is an important part of this traditional educational programme.

The SSSL offers all-day three-week Czech courses focused on general language. Participants
can choose from four different language levels (A1-B2). All teachers are qualified
professionals, who enjoy using informal methods of instruction. The language classes are
complemented by an accompanying programme of sightseeing tours, workshops, sporting
events and parties, during which participants can practise and enjoy their newly acquired
language skills.

The scholarship for government scholarship holders includes:

• tuition (99 teaching hours)

• provision of course materials
• accommodation from Friday, July 7, till Saturday, July 29, 2023
• full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
• excursions
• afternoon and evening programmes

The scholarship does not include:

• travel to/from Pilsen

• health insurance and visa (for students with visa requirement)
• pocket money
