1. What is history?
History is a narration of the past. It is a narration essential for the present
generation to learn about themselves and their people. History is also essential for the
people not to repeat the same mistake the past has made.

2. Is it important in the curriculum?


I believe it is important in the curriculum. Each person has the rights to learn
about their roots and how their country and the people came about. History also
enables the learners to get more rooted on their own culture.

3. How will it help you as a student knowing and understanding the past?
As a student, learning the history of my own country will make me appreciate my
country more. It will enable me to understand the current situations our country is facing
and will help think of better ways to solve those. It will also make me aware of the past
mistakes and how to solve or avoid those problems.
