Sweep ‘em Out of the Sky

1
Change in plans! The Imperial supply convoy has jumped out of hy-
perspace, but it has more teeth than we expected. An Imperial light
corvette is escorting them. Worse, it looks they’ve got two squad-
2
rons of Ties flying close and long range CAP.
We’ve only got a few Y-Wings which can go in and disable the trans-
ports. Before we release Gold Wing for the assault on the trans-
ports you’re going to need to get in there and thin out their fighter
screen.
Look out for that Corvette, it’s turbo laser have limited range, but
they pack a punch!

Convoy ships must be placed beyond range 3 of the Rebel player edge. Each
Transport must be at no less than range 1 and no more than range 2 from at 2. Rebel Setup Area
least one other Convoy ship. All Transport ships must be facing in the same 3. Imperial Setup Area
direction. An “Imperial Light Corvette” ship template is placed at no less than
range 1 and no more than range 2 of at least one transport. Place the turbo la-
ser battery tokens on the appropriate locations of the Corvette. The Convoy ships
do not move during the scenario.

After placing the Convoy, the Imperial player places all his units. Each unit must
be no more than range 1 from a Convoy ship template.

The Rebel player may place his ships anywhere within range 1 of his player edge
of the game surface.

Special Rules
Ship Template Obstacles: Each ship template behaves like an asteroid
obstacle. Ships can move over and through them. Passing through one triggers
a collision check, and ending movement on one prevents the ship from attacking
(but not acting or being attacked). Shots to a target that pass through any part
of a ship template grant the target 1 extra defense die.

Turbo Lasers: The turbo laser batteries on the Corvette act for all intents and
purposes like immobile ships. They may fire using the stats on their “ship” card,
and may be targets of attack or the recipients of the Protect Action. Turbo lasers
may only fire within their firing arc and when they’ve taken sufficient damage are
destroyed and removed from the Corvette.

Turbo Laser Barrage: When firing, first pick a target and then use the ruler
to find all other ships that can also be touched by the ruler at the same time as
the target and the turbo laser are being touched. All of these ships (including Example of a Turbo Laser Barrage:
Convoy templates) are non-optional targets which may be damaged by the attack. When targeting the nearest X-Wing, the
Roll against each target independently. middle Tie must also be a target. The closer
Tie is outside of the cone’s arc, and the further
Convoy Targeting: Neither side may intentionally target the transports.
Tie is outside of the cone’s reach. The furthest
These are valuable supplies and neither side wants them destroyed! X-Wing is a third mandatory target because it
also lies within the cone.

Rebel Victory: Destroy all Enemy ships (excluding the Corvette and trans-
ports).
