I 

have chosen good known painting The Starry Night by dutch post impressionist painter Vincent van
Gogh. It is oil painting, painted in 1889 and the painting displays view from the one of the windows
in his asylum room at Saint Remy de Provence. Actually this is one of the many paintings of this view
which he had painted.

Even i am not the biggest fanatic into the art and i dont have much knowledge about that i like to
think about the feelings and impressions they evoke in me.

What i really like about this particular painting is the contrast between different shades of blue which
can seem a little bit cold and warm yellow in the sky i think they work so good togheter because they
balance eachother. Another contrast which i have noticed is between the sky which si more abstract
and village is painted more in the detail. My personal favourite pasrt of this painting is the sky and
i like a lot the lighter blue slash white curve in the middle of the sky which i suppose represents the
wind and from that a i could imagine myself sitting on the balcony at the night, looking at the sky
with this cold breeze in my hair. And overall i have this welcoming, peaceful and warm feeling from
which is the thing we have talked at the last lesson that most of us women concentrate on the
feeling or vibe which we have from the painting.

the thing which caught my attetion
when i saw this painting.
