Process Steps
1. Purchase initial license or renew support subscription on Midland.
2. Send an email to Jan Arnoldi. She will validate your subscription and email you link to download
the Builder G3 Installation files from Box.
3. Download Builder G3 Installation files from Box.
4. Please also review HELP document “How To Install Builder G3” to find out which installation file
you need and how to perform the installation.
5. Install Builder G3
6. Take the eLearning Course. See our HELP document “How to Access and Take the Builder G3
eLearning Course”
7. Start using Builder G3 to author and maintain Service Data.

Purchase Builder G3
To purchase BUILDER G3, go through the Midland Online Ordering System -
https://oos.midlandcorp.com/CAT

Initial purchase - You need to purchase JERC4930 for $6000 USD. This includes the license price of
$4150 USD and the support subscription of $1850 USD for the first year. The support subscription is by
calendar year. It expires each year on December 31. The support subscription gives your dealer code
access to the Level 1 & 2 Help Desk, software updates, webex sessions, and training sessions. The
license stays in effect indefinitely as long as you renew the support subscription each year. If you let
your support subscription lapse for a year, you will need to repurchase the license for future renewals.

Renewal purchase - After the first year you have the option to renew the support subscription each
calendar year. The renewal fee is $1850 USD. If you renew during the first three months of the calendar
year you can use the subscription renewal process in the Midland Online Ordering system. If you use
this option, the system will convert your initial media number purchase (JERC4930) to the subscription
renewal media number JERC4933. If you wait to renew your G3 support subscription past the three
month renewal period of a calendar year, then you will need to use the media number ordering process
in Midland and create an order for JERC4933.
