NOTICE OF ALLOWANCE
Please be informed that the abovementioned trademark application has been allowed and its publication in
the Official Gazette for opposition purposes pursuant to Sec. 133.2 of Republic Act No. 8293 has been approved.

1. FOR APPLICATIONS FILED ON OR BEFORE FEBRUARY 13, 2023, the applicant must pay the 1st
publication fee in the amount of:
Php 910.00 - Small entity OR Php 970.00 - Big entity

Failure to pay the 1st publication fee within two (2) months from the mailing date of this notice will result in the
abandonment of this application.

The applicant may also pay the Issuance Fee and 2nd Publication Fee (for the Certificate of
Registration) in the amount of:
Php 1,484.70 - Small entity OR Php 2,181.60 - Big entity

Paying the Issuance Fee and 2nd Publication Fee will expedite the release of the Certificate of Registration
if no opposition to the registration of the mark is filed within thirty (30) days from publication of the mark in the E-
Gazette.

2. FOR APPLICATIONS FILED ON FEBRUARY 14, 2023 ONWARDS, please pay the Issuance Fee and
2nd Publication Fee (for the Certificate of Registration) if this has not been paid together with the filing fee,
in the amount of:
Php 1,484.70 - Small entity OR Php 2,181.60 - Big entity

After the period of opposition and the payment for the Issuance and 2nd Publication Fee has not been paid,
all applications will still receive the notice to pay the Issuance and 2nd Publication Fee.

2. If an opposition is filed, the Issuance Fee will not be refunded.

Reminders:

 The IPOPHL requires the submission of the Declaration of Actual Use (DAU) within three (3) years from the filing
date of the application; within one (1) year from the fifth (5th) anniversary of the date of registration of the mark;
within one (1) year from the renewal date; and within one (1) year from the fifth anniversary of each renewal.
The provisions governing the filing of the DAU are contained in the Trademark Regulations of 2023.

ONLINE PAYMENT OF PUBLICATION AND ISSUANCE FEES GUIDE

● Payment should be made through our online facility (eDocfile for Trademarks)
https://onlineservices.ipophil.gov.ph/edocFileTrademarks/ .
● In the Request Group, choose “Allowance and Registration”. In the Request
Type, choose “Issuance of Certificate of Registration”
● Next, click the “Request for Application”, and input the 11-digit
application/registration number using this format: 42003001234, 42013012345,
42023123456 (please note of the six-digit file number that must be entered
after the year/file series i.e., 2020/2013) and click the search button. You may
search using the mark name, and select the affected mark. Please be advised
that the eDocFile system accepts multiple applications and requests at the
same time.
● After choosing the affected mark/s, check the Declaration of Small Entity, if
applicable.
● In the “Attachments” upload the PDF copy of the Notice of Allowance. The
system will require one attachment per request.
● The system will then generate a “Draft Receipt (Acknowledgment)” of your
submission/s. Please note that this is not yet the final step.
● In the “Signatory”, please indicate the name and email of the signatory.
● Proceed to fill out the payor’s details in the “Payment Information”.
● An email containing the validation code, which serves as an OTP, will be sent
to the nominated email address indicated in the “Signatory”. Copy and paste
the validation code in the “Validate Request” section.
● Thereafter, a page showing the details such as “eDocFile Reference Code”,
the “Affected File/s”, “Document/s Submitted”, summary of “Fees”, “Signatory”
and “Payment Information” will be shown. Once verified as correct, you may
click the “Process Request” at the bottom of the page.
● After clicking the “Process Request”, you will be redirected to the payment
method section and the system will provide options on how to pay.
● You will receive an acknowledgment (confirmation of your filing) from our
Management Information Service Bureau (MISB).
