My trip to Évora

Last summer, on the seventh of July, I went to visit Évora with my aunt, my cousins and my
uncle. We got in the car at 2pm and it took us about one hour to get there, the weather was
just like it was every other summer day, very hot and a bit windy, ( wich is very common for
this region of Portugal.

Évora is situated in Alentejo, Portugal and its one of the most culturally important places in it’s
country, with it’s rich past ,and the sheer breathtaking beauty of it’s monuments like Diana’s
Temple and the Chaple of the Bones.

On another note, Évora’s gastronomy, the food scene there is amazing, either if it’s their
famous “ enchidos alentejanos” or their typical dishes like the “Guisado á Alentejana” and the
“ Açorda á Alentejana”.

When I went there, almost everything was closed, so we only got to glare at “Diana’s Temple”,
despite that, we still an absolute blast there.

To sum it all up, I loved Évora and I 100% recommend it to anyone who’s in a mood for good
food and beautiful monuments.
