PIT 3 - Presentation Software

Do this in pair or solo….

In a 3-minute powerpoint presentation, design at least 8 slides personalized prayer video out of
presentation software.
Prepare the following before designing:

 A personalize prayer.
o Provide a voice record out of the prayer. You will use this recorded voice as voice over
to your presentation
 Praise and Worship Audio file (ex. mp3 file) as background sound
 At least 5 pictures (ex. .jpg or .gif) as visual background

Before you start in making your presentation, remember to:


- Plan the organization of your presentation
- Make your presentation neat and simple
- Apply the tips in making a good presentation, and
- Make sure that your presentation will run to any platform

Instructions:
Step 1. Open a Powerpoint presentation. Select the “Blank Presentation” or any design template that
relates to your prayer.
Step 2. For the 1st slide, type “My/Our Prayer” Prepared by: [your name/s]. You can insert a
picture in this slide

Step 3. Start typing your prayer on the 2 nd slide. Type your prayer at most 3 lines per slides. You can
also insert pictures in these slides
Note: Apply the tips in designing a good presentation that was written in the manual (if you
have), such as the usage of a readable font and its recommended font size.
Step 4. After typing the prayer, you can now apply your chosen font styles (font face, size and color).
Make sure it is readable.
Step 5. After formatting the text entries, placed the picture in the appropriate place.
Step 6. When your texts and pictures are already in place, you can now apply animation to our slide
contents
Step 7. After setting the animation, apply your chosen slide transition.
Note: Your animation and transition must not be destructing and annoying to the viewer.
Step 8. Once the animation and transition were set, insert now your Praise and Workship audio on
the first slide. In inserting your audio file,
1) Click “Insert” Tab
2) Select “Audio”
3) Click “Audio on My PC..”
4) Look for your audio file on your folder
5) Once the audio file was selected, click “Insert”. When the audio file was successfully
inserted in the slide, a speaker icon appears.

6) When the speaker icon is selected, the “Playback” tab under the “Audio Tool” appears.

7) Select “Play in Background” option


8) On the Start option, select “Automatically” in the dropdown menu
9) Make sure also that the “Play Across Slides” and “Loop until Stopped” checkbox were
ticked.
Step 9. On the 2nd slide, insert the voice recorded prayer as voice over. Insert this audio by following
the steps in Step 8.
Step 10. Apply timing on your slide from the 1st slide to the last slide. You can apply Slide Timing
through,
1) Clicking the “Transition” Tab
2) Under the “Timing” Group, remove the tick on the checkbox of the “On Mouse Click”

3) Instead, ticked the checkbox of “After” and set the number of seconds which the slides
transits after (example, 3 secs or 5 secs depending on the speed of your voice over and
text on the slide)
Consider and base the timing of your slide transition on your voice over and prayer on
each slide.

Step 11. When everything was set, save your presentation as “yourfamilyname/s_PIT 3.pptx"

Step 12. Save again this presentation as “yourfamilyname/s_PIT 3.mp4”. This may take
an hour or more.
