    DESCRIPTIVE WRITING

    C.V Raman is one of the most intelligent and famous Indian scientist, who was born on 7th
    September in thiruvanai Kovil in Trichy. He is a great physician who worked in the field of
    light scattering. He discovered a method known as "RAMAN EFFECT" and won the NOBEL
    PRIZE in the year 1930 for his discovery and made all Indians feel proud.

    He was also elected as the"FELLOW OF THE ROYAL SOCIETY" in 1924. In 1954 India
    honoured him with it's highest civilian award "BHARAT RATNA".

    He died on 21 November 1940. He is one of India's most revered scientist.
