Aloe vera has main ingredients such as: essential oil, gum, aloin, minerals, emodin and vitamins. Li dah
crocodiles were utilized in this study is the aloe gel from aloe vera barbadensis species which means the plant
that is rich in protein, vitamin A, C, and E , calcium, to moisturize the skin, eliminate acne and rejuvenate the
skin. The content of aloe vera gel functions as an antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral compound. The use of
aloe vera is useful for overcoming hair loss , thickening and blackening hair. ideal in products cosmetics and
dermatological contained in the chemical content of aloe vera and the most important in the cosmetics
industry.

One instrument that uses the principle of spectroscopy is FTIR ( Fourier Transform Infrared ) . Fourier
Transform Infrared is infrared spectroscopy which is equipped with fourier transform for the detection and
analysis of the results of its spectrum. Infrared spectroscopy has the benefit of identifying organic compounds
because its spectrum is very complex spectrum because it consists of many peaks that indicate the existence
of a functional group marked with wave numbers.

the instrument that is widely used is the FTIR spectrophotometer which functions to know the molecular
vibrational spectrum and its benefits for predicting the structure of chemical compounds. In general, the
manufacture of spec trum samples using FTIR has three techniques of making spectrum of samples that have
the characteristics of the spectrum of the vibration of certain molecules that Demountable liquid cell, diffuse
reflectance measuring (DRS-8000), Total attenuated Reflectance (ATR -8 000 ). Mechanical quick Useful un
tuk characterize the material is attenuated Total Reflektance (ATR-FTIR) . ATR has the following advantages
without using KBr grinding, the particle size difference is negligible, a wider spectrum of variation for sample
preparation which is not too complicated and preparation which n samples that are not too complicated [9].

In this study, making the sample spectrum with DRS-8000, diffuse reflectance measuring is an accessory of
the IRprestige-21 instrument used to measure samples . The sample to be analyzed is mixed first with KBr
powder (5-10% of the sample in KBr powder) can then be analyzed directly with DRS.

The results of the study [10] showed that anava analysis before and after use proved that there was an effect
of hair tonic after hair loss treatment, the use was reduced. The preferred hair tonic is the hair tonic of the
tongue-in-law and celery with a proportion of 53: 27 mL which has the characteristic scent of menthol,

The results of the study give the result that the activity as an effective hair growth of 1,890 mm within 28
days on a combination of celery extract and green tea leaves. Combination 3 is the most optimum
combination with the characteristics of solid green color, characteristic odor, homogeneous, pH 4.6, specific
gravity 0.973 g / mL and viscosity 10.
The results of the study showed that the preparation of hair tonic combination of celery and mangkokan leaf
extracts with a concentration ratio (5: 5; 7.5: 2.5 and 2.5: 7.5)% w / v met the physical properties test
including organoleptic test, viscosity test and pH test. Comparison of concentrations (7 , 5: 2.5 )% w / v on
the combination of celery and mangkokan leaf extracts by having the best rabbit hair growth with the best
activity.

The results of the study influence the proportion of aloe vera extract ( aloe vera ) and honey as hair tonic
active ingredients which are assessed organoleptically ( physical color, aroma, absorption) and panelist
preferences. Sample X3 with the criteria for hair tonic produced was clear white and homogeneous had the
best proportion. The most preferred sample of panelists is sample X3. Sample X3 has chemical contents in
vitamin A , vitamin B5, vitamin C, amino acids, zinc and pinocembrin. There is an effect of the proportion of
aloe vera extract and honey at X3 (5: 1) mL on the results of finished hair tonic and chemical test results on
hair tonic X3 containing vitamin A of vitamin B5 of 2.45 mg / 100 mL, and vitamin C of 4 , 80 mg / 100 mL,
11.81 mg / 100 mL, amino acids 9.50 mg / 100 mL.

Research results Hair tonic formula A can be formulated into hair tonic preparations with 25% mangkokan
leaf ethanol extract concentration because it shows a stable state that is stored for 8 weeks. Based on the
analysis of ANOVA which shows that there are significant differences between treatments as indicated by the
value of F > F table in the formulation of hair tonic preparations that can increase hair growth.

Based on the description above , then do research that aims to make the hair tonic of aloe vera with codes F1,
F2 and F3 by each - each ratio of aloe vera extract and c streams aloe vera 1: 1; 1: 2; 1: 3, to determine the
physical properties of the three hair tonic analyzes and to see the functional groups contained in the hair tonic
with the Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) instrumentation tool .
